secretly calorie counting one thing I don't get, these people all seem to be using Tefal Soup makers and stuff like that (because it's clearly too hard to use a normal pan) do they get money every time they mention them? Noticing this alot and it feels very underhand and pisses me off. Ads where it isn't obvious what is an ad.

I can't say for certain it was him, but its no coincidence that i pass comment about him on here, and within minutes I'm getting messages off fake profiles about me 'trolling his baby' when I did nothing of the sort...

I'll see if i can find the screenshot of it, but it was along the lines of

"trolling a baby, its time to report you to childrens services, you should be ashamed of yourself, your profile says everything about you, and you call yourself a dad"

Yes I do... I don't plaster my kids all over insta in the hope of a freebie...

and the last time I checked, to troll someone, you have to contact them directly do you not?

I did no such thing, Mr Snares' ego is so out of control he will google himself to e-tank his ego.

I do Slimming World too, it really does work but these big accounts just annoy me and take away from what it really is about. It's not really got anything to do with slimming World, they are just using it to try and build their own profile.

She knew how to work that situation to her advance. It was totally dealt with and they had moved on but she decided to drag it all up. She thought she was hurting the consultant but actually it was her fellow members it hurt the most.

That consultant is really lovely. Claire sh!t all over her from what I heard. My friend told me she said the consultant wasn't supportive, which is rubbish as my friend goes to that group. Claire is too full of her own self importance, it's a wonder she gets through a door, her head is that big.

6+ years ago, you’d bang your veg on the plate, follow the plan properly, have a nice loss, then listen to large Susan talk about her all inclusive cruise in class. The meals weren’t pretty, but they were honest and got you where you wanted to be. No fuss, no wannabes, no Beggy Mitchells.

These days, it’s all about tweaks and likes. Tower burgers that are about 7 layers high, porridge with ridiculous cake decorations on, and dickheads with a different comparison picture every day, tagging the tit out of SW in the vain hope that they’re not enough of a hunter to appear in the magazine.

Give me large Susan any day...

This is it! Most of my SW group are only on social media to share posts of missing dogs in the USA from 2013 so are blissfully unaware of the Instagram version of the plan. You should see some of the rit they eat though seriously so much beetroot. I am trying so hard this time to ignore the seas of beige that pop up on my explore and just focus on eating mainly fruit, veg and protein.

I used to love slimming world accounts on Instagram. I think my favourite of the ones I followed were Lifethroughemseyes and Lilandlife. Spanjee. Foppperholic. Chloe Phillips. Mrs mummy wright. There was some girl from Liverpool Nikki something? She had dark hair and was always saying My lubs! Her neighbours cat used to come round and she would claim it as her own

The usual ones really that have already been mentioned on here. But I got so overwhelmed with it all. I now don’t have a clue how to lose weight or eat nomally. I struggle with it

Also meals must go cold by the time they’ve finished the mini photo shoots on them. Jeez we get it chips seasoned with some kind of meat and sauce and rainbow salad. You don’t got to try make a song and dance out of it with those face tune for food filters as well

I have seen a thread but haven’t had a look at it yet. But she was so obvious that she was selling. On her YouTube about giving up SW and how she wanted to focus on her social media. it's like you aren't allowed to eat a normal breakfast if you have a SW insta account with tens of thousands of followers. That amount of chocolate/sweetener first thing is never good

The other halfs of these people must feel constantly pissed off with the photo obsession. I feel like they sit on their Instagram all day every day.

There are some good receipes in the SW WORLD but other than that I’ve never managed to keep the weight off
calories in calories out approach for me

and for the love of god people stop stock piling gluten free food! :-( take one not loads - I can find it hard getting them when out and about (I do get prescription food too tho)

I have a soup maker (though not a Tefal one) and I love it - I can chop the food up before starting work in the morning, then throw it all in 20 minutes before lunch and it'll cook and blend itself without me standing around nursing a pan and getting a separate blender. I still use pans for some soups though, it's really only good for the purely vegetable variety.

The thing that gets me with SW instagrammers is the overenthusiastic selling - you'd think they'd eaten nothing but plain boiled food before the way they go on about JD Spice and Spice N Tice - and those companies annoy me with their '0 syns / 0 points' advertising - yes... all spices are. You could grab a pre-made Schwartz blend and it would be syn free.

That does sound good, might have to try a soup maker now! Don't have time to faff about making them because of work so would be useful! Happy to not go all out on a ridiculously expensive one

Spices - literally have a cupboard full of normal supermarket spices. Not going to be conned into spending 30 quid or whatever it is on something that is identical just so some Instagrammer can get paid

I can honestly say, I've lost almost 10 stone following SW, I've not begged once, used not one bleeping discount code of any description.

My fave memory so far? was it buying 2xl tops instead of 7xl tops? no...

was it buying 42 inch jeans instead of 60 inch? no...

it was asking beggy ben if he has parkinsons after he followed and unfollowed me about 15 times in 10 minutes
