1st 1.5lb gain in 12 days?! How???????!!!

Sorry, this should have stated who it related to. Although I’m sure it’s not hard to guess as there’s not many that have gains like that. Snaresylad.
Jesus Christ, that’s just grotesque. What the fuck did he eat, a small child?

Seriously, how is this shit being hashtagged as #slimmingworldideas. Since when is visiting Five Guys for a paid partnership considered a great idea on any diet plan?

Fucking chancers.

That is a huge plateful  I must admit when I first start calorie counting I was shocked at how many calories were in a standard roast dinner and I love my veggies so at least a third of my plate would be mixed veg.

Exactly, why would he care what a handful of strangers on the internet are saying?

I know why he cares so much - because he knows it to be the truth!

He doesn't like it because people are questioning his bullshit
These people lose weight and grow egos out of control. If you make a comment about it you get blocked and deleted. Tattle has grown because these social media people want all praise, money and nothing said against them.
Post all your business online, expect to be called out over your behaviour. If you don’t like it, leave it.

SW strategy is for consultants to watch who is doing well and living and breathing the plan. They butter them up, get them on the social team. Next step is the team developer casually drops into group throws them compliments and mentions a meeting for people interested in being a consultant. It’s all staged and this is why the Miss slinky, mr sleek, greatest loser etc awards were created to reel them in. Tansy and Aaron were the fish.
You mean, they low fat spread them up? 😉

I don’t think it was SW promoting it rather than people trying to tweak the ever loving fuck out of their plan just so they can have garlic bread etc. SW just highlighted it as an option for coeliacs and gluten intolerant.

Also this, 100%.
Well my consultant did sadly 😭 my town doesnt even have a Sainsburys and the people in my class were travelling to other towns to get the promise rolls 🙈😂 and a lot of the 'famous' consultants did too. So SW have to have been aware when the likes of Fopperholic would constantly rave about the Schar rolls.

I really think that they’re clutching at straws these days, and the glory days of SW are over.
As long as there's middle aged women who see it as a social gathering it will always be around.
Women in the group I used to attend used to lose and gain the same 3lb or 4lb every couple of weeks. No intention of actually losing it over a sustained period.

I am not sure what the others here think but I think slimming world promoting these variations of takeaways is wrong. I do think they should promote good looking, healthy alternatives to lure people away from foods like pizza and curry.
Im torn on this. People arent going to not eat pizzas or curries forever and the longer they go without them, they crave it and crave it then binge.

I have flatbread pizzas a few times a week for lunch, I use the deli kitchen flatbreads as my base and they are fantastic. Yes theyre slightly over 200 calories but theyre high in protein (for bread) and high in fibre. I put chicken on the 'pizza' and then veggies. Under 500 calories for a satisfying, tasty lunch.

Obviously this may not be an option on SW for everyone due to the syns in the flatbread but it hits the spot for me and keeps me nice and full until dinner time. I enjoy it so much.

I remember being at slimming world one week and someone Maintained. The group was next door to an Iceland and everyone popped in there after as per usual for our Alpen bars and bloody muller lights. Anyway the lady who had maintained was in there buying a dozen slimming world meals saying if she just ate these for the next week she was bound to loose a couple of pounds as they was all ‘free’ food. I remember thinking that was a good idea but now I just think Jesus Christ! Fresh, sensibly cooked food would have been far more nutritious and tasty and led her to a loss!

My friend has just joined slimming world.
She started Friday. She's just told me that her consultant has told her she needs to syn her glucose tablets for her diabetes and also another lot of medication she has in a liquid form!
Her consultant has asked if she can consider substituting her glucose tablets with food that's syn free or low syn instead!
Years ago, I was told that I’d need to syn my cough medicine. Another reason that Slimming World can get in the bin.

The thing that annoys me the most is promoting all the gluten free stuff as B choices and SW-ers clearing the shelves.

Most of the 'B' choices arent even that high in fibre. I get at least 30g of fibre per day not doing SW but its often higher than that. When I was doing SW I dont think I was getting anywhere near 30g of fibre per day despite having that B choice 'for fibre'

Have a bloody normal roll and get your fibre elsewhere. Gluten free bread is yack and expensive, I have no idea why anyone would choose to eat it if they didnt need to.
Remember those Gluten free promise rolls which all the slimming worlders were creating Subway “fakeaways” with? You didn’t see them on the shelves for weeks!

Any light to shed on the blueberry gate?
“A Slimming World spokesperson said the popular fruit had been reclassified because information shows varieties being eaten are on average lower in calories than in previous years.

They added: “We’re now eating blueberries grown in and imported from many different countries meaning that they’re exposed to different climates, soils and harvesting and growing conditions, which can all impact on their composition.”

Whether that’s true or not, it was literally the first result found on a simple Google search.

Can we talk about Gemma B Slimming’s holiday to Florida. Going off the rails with daily McDonalds breakfasts now that she’s not counting 🤣

I had no idea that was a thing! Im an SW member but honestly i dont really see a difference between speed and free when it comes to fruit and veg. Fruit and veg is fruit and veg to me.
I do understand that certain root veg might be higher in carbs than others. Mind you, I'm sure a potato is syn free so who would even care 😂

I don't know about anyone else, but I found the whole process of being given a sticker or a certificate so infantile. And calling your period "star week" 😑 lord.
