I went to NYC alone a year ago and had a great time too! It's so busy there no one even notices if you're alone.I went on a trip to NYC last month and many of my colleagues were horrified to hear I was going ALONEWho would I spend time with, eat at restaurants with, travel with? ME! I love my own company, and I got to do what I wanted, when I wanted! I tried lobster for the first time, went to some of the same shops multiple times (without annoying anyone else), got lots of uninterrupted sleep.

Thought I'd pop in as I went to the cinema on Tuesday with my friend and her partner. It was a "de lux" showcase, and I found it hugely annoying that the seats are sold in twos (with the middle arm rest removed so you can cosy on up, and swinging table arms either side). Ended up in a 'cuddle' seat next to a complete stranger throwing her popcorn into the air at every jumpscare
Will be opting for the recliner seats instead next time!
