Ah gosh I know both his parents have passed in recent enough years too. He was obviously dealing with a lot.

Nobody knows what anyone is going through. Sinead and Patrick were friends for years how close I don’t know but they were certainly friends!
I knew Patrick outside of his influencer life and can honestly say he was a gentle sensitive soul who would do anything for his friends or anyone infact if he could. He will be sorely missed and leaves a hand print on the hearts of all that know him.

As they say loneliness is a secret killer especially with single men & women in their late 30.

That's very sad that both of those people who were together as a couple are now gone. I didn't know of either of them bar he had a column in the weekly paper. I didn't know anything about him as a person. I just feel his passing is being manipulated by Sinead and others for their own means and it doesn't sit well with me.

I'm very good at sussing manipulative people. Unfortunately.

It will be " well you have tried it on and worn it so fuck off with your refund bitch"

Or similar words. Classy is our Sinead.

Yes very true my point was the pressure that some single people do face in that 30 plus range can be awful if they haven’t a relationship or kids etc but all age ranges and relationships status can be hit with the same issues.

yeah true i guess society does pressure people to have kids and get married, which is just wrong especially in this day and age. people need to not be so judgemental of others

It’s awful and there is a lot of pressure to fit into that mould. And Irish people are bad for speaking we don’t want to bother other people and put on the brave face and the stiff lip. There should definitely not be a stigma for those who are

yeah i admire people that choose their own path though and not just settle into a life of babies and marriage just because everyone else is doing it. but great if thats what they want. i do agree tho that there is a stigma but its nowhere near as bad as it was years ago, feel really bad for people years ago they were completely shunned from society if they didnt have kids etc. but yeah its still there sort of but getting better

Wonder will she strong arm Patrick's sister into letting her sing at the funeral?

I think there is a far greater stigma, or let's say it seems less socially acceptable today, for older people to remain single and without children then it was in the Ireland of the twentieth century. This is particularly true for men.

It wouldn't surprise me. The Cunt she is. Maybe her vile sister could record it again outside the Church for the Gram.
As she did for Simon's Dad's mass when yer one was screeching inside. Would love to know what his family think now of the antics. It was all about Sinead.

greater stigma today>? really i wouldnt have thought so, i thought it would be moreso before. there are far more single childless people nowadays than haas ever been

and also how shit is that that people judge people like that just because you didnt procreate or settle down with a partner. thats just really sad and total societal brainwashing. we are all just humans at the end of the day. we would do well to remember that

I don’t doubt they knew each other etc, I am so sorry to hear he passed I had the pleasure of meeting him once (at event not personal) and he was a gent.

However if you read that limerick leader acetic let Sinead talks as if a takeaway has closed. ‘Limerick lost a good one, I’ll remember his style’ sorry maybe her English isn’t great or she can’t find words but this wasn’t an opportunity for PR for her. Saying ‘ this is a heartbreaking loss & we are keeping his family in our prayers’ is the done thing here. Sorry but she’s posting stuff with laughing faces & I get they may have been pals but I’m finding it’s not appropriate

Agreed, it was always single mothers who were the social pariahs, still are to an extent

Ah here she is getting the hair done and all today. Just really boggles my mind how she doesn’t realise how bad she’s coming across. I’m baffled really. She never ceases to surprise me.
