I agree and I think the school are also to blame here because they constantly seem to phone Sian to get them at the slightest inconvenience. So Braxton’s and Lennox’s bad behaviour is encouraged by both the bad parenting from Sian and the ineffective school.
If the school cannot cope with Braxton and Lennox they should have started the ball rolling for specialist provision a lot earlier rather than “oh shit, Braxton is in year 6, his mum says he won’t cope with mainstream secondary and we know she’s right, better start backing her.” If they can cope then they shouldn’t phone Sian all the time as they’re letting the kids down massively by doing it and encouraging the bad behaviour probably even more than Sian is tbf.
Guaranteed as it is the same issue will recur again in 5 years with Lennox (or however many years it is until she’s in year 6 applying for high schools).
