Aldi vitamin c toner pixi dupe - I went mad and got one of each type, clearly nothing to write home about as here we are some time later (one more to go). Bottle is handy for a DIY shimmer/coloured body oil to use up powder highlighter and/or eyeshadows that you’ll never get through otherwise (have one on the go already)

Shay and blue black tulip perfume handbag size - sad about this one as I loved it but I’ve too many perfumes to justify buying more. I’d forgotten it was so nice until I decided to use up my minis. In the past I’d have kept it for best when I rediscovered it then forgotten (again) how much I like it which is just a bit silly.

Eveline eyebrow pencil - i like it but it came loose on first use so I spent more time than I’d like to admit on my hands and knees looking for it to put back into the pencil. I have another and so far so good with this one 🤞🏻

My January empties so far:

- Radox Cosy Cabin shower gel. Wouldn’t repurchase not my favourite smell and found it a bit drying.

- Got2Be Volume Dry Shampoo. Wouldn’t repurchase hair actually felt dirtier after 😅

Clearly a very exciting month for me 😂 now just a few hundred skincare and fake tan products to get through

Finally have an empty - Avon Footworks Cracked Heel cream. Awful. Waste of money. Might as well have been smearing whipped cream on my feet.

Emptied a Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb & Rose liquid handwash (but I used it as bubbles for the bath. 100ml. Smells so nice. Still have the matching body lotion.

Won't be buying this again - thought it'd be good for easy application but it's like spraying an aerosol deodorant on your face, gives me a headache!

I like other LRP stuff but another lovely tattler gave the heads up they're owned by L'Oréal so gonna go back to my other sunscreens!

Has anyone got any tips for decluttering makeup products? I have no issues chucking skincare or haircare products that don't work for me but trying to declutter my makeup and feel so guilty about it 🙈

If there’s any that are brand new or very lightly used (and sanitised) you could donate them to a women’s shelter 😊

I think you might be the poster with a lot of makeup from blogging? Start with a category that will go off, these should be easier to rationalise? Estimate how long it would take to use it all vs when it will expire. If you can’t find someone now that would want it there’s no point carrying the burden until it expires then throwing it in the bin anyway.

Guilty! To be fair, it's all powder products so it's not like they'd expired in the same sense as a cream product. I really just need to grow a pair and pitch stuff I know I won't use, for example I've hit pan on 4 of 6 shades in a palette, I know I won't use the remaining 2 so I should chuck it.

Two of my all time faves are now discontinued and I’m just coming to the end of them:
-Vichy Dermablend 3D Correction foundation

😭😭😭😭
I’ve just emptied my original Dermablend but saw plenty of 3D online still. I couldn’t get on with 3D, made imperfections really stand out on me. Love the original though, my most repurchased product. Trying to go lighter & cheaper for everyday with L’Oréal TM after being impressed with a friend’s but Dermablend’s a god send for full cover or even as a concealer.

Yeah, I’ve bought about five 3Ds which will see me through a couple of years 🥲

I think Dermacol is supposed to be a dupe for the original Dermablend. And it’s quite cheap (£13). I’ve never tried it but it’s got 30,000 ratings on Amazon!

Thank you. I’ve actually tried dermacol. It was a horrendous colour match buying blind so I couldn’t use it but testing it, it’s mega thick, really mask like. I think it would cover tattoos well, kind of like the old Estée Lauder maximum cover. I’d find a place for it but not as a replacement for Dermablend.
