Yes, always 😹 like no kitty that won't dry you 😹
Jimmy always does it.

The other day, he came barrelling through the back door and literally bounced off the kitchen cupboard. I think he was chasing a flying insect. He tried to style it out and then just sat there having a wash in a "Meant to do that didn't I." fashion.

Happy Friday. The catacetamol reminded me of this antidepressant

Our girl has cat herpes which gives her a weepy eye. We use tear stain pads for it but these cost a bomb! £20 or so for a pack of 60 wipes. Are all tear stain wipes made equal? I can see there's much cheaper options out there but obviously want whats best for our little girl

Hi! I was a bit shocked by the price, @jojida, so I googled. I see lots of brands the same price (so at least you know you're not being ripped off!) and I also saw a not-medically-certified home remedy that coconut oil may be useful, with a waffle textured pad, and not a fluffy cotton pad.

I love my Dill a great deal, and I think I'd be trying a safe DIY alternative on him, so I'm not just waving internet rit at you!

And you've reminded me he needs his vaccinations updated, and that I haven't kissed him yet today. We did sneak off for a 20 minute power nap together, though. (We told the dog that we had a zoom meeting and she fell for it hahahahaaaa.)

The two sides of Dill:

1. Truly bizarre

2. Exquisitely perfect

The cat was throwing up again despite changing her diet and giving her steroids so we cut out the biscuits even though they said they were hypoallergenic. The vet nurse said this brand gets a lot of their proteins from chicken which can be bad for IBD cats. Despite the fact that we are trying her on wet food that has chicken, taking the biscuits away seems to have stopped the puking for now. However, the cat is behaving in a feral manner 🤣 she’s so hungry, bless her, probably because of the steroids. She’s always happy if you add food to a routine but even if you’ve only ever given her biscuits at lunchtime like twice in her life, she will declare it a routine, so even now at 7:40pm she is waiting for these biscuits. When she is on her own she sits in our hallway and lets out the craziest miaows ever, last night she did the longest miaow I’ve ever heard. She’s not showing any signs of pain, it doesn’t happen before or after she is sick or before or after she uses her litter tray. She is just basically yelling that she wants biscuits 🤣.

Whilst I’m here, can anyone recommend a good clumping litter? We were using I think smart pellets from Natures Best but they became super expensive. So we switched to another clumping litter from Nature’s Best but the litter itself is smaller and it is EVERYWHERE. I know litter gets most places even though we have a covered tray, a little mat outside the tray, etc, but this stuff is on another level. I keep saying the more expensive one is worth it to stop us needing to vacuum multiple times a day but my husband said no 🤣🤣

I've been using this litter & out of all the ones used previous, it's really the best by far! It's clumping and comes in a few different scent options too. This website is also very good for cat stuff. We get our cats food here & it always works out cheaper then elsewhere.

Now tbh it does get on the mat outside of the covered litter box, but I really think that is mostly due to our feral boss scratching for ages after she goes, & our tiny boss kind of being a messy pooper. Sometimes we catch our Boss #1 (feral) waiting outside the litter box whist Boss #2 in using it, almost like how a mammy trains her child to use the potty.

I'd be careful with clumping litter, not trying to freak anyone out but long term use can cause problems with cats if they ingest it when they're cleaning the paws.

This is why I liked the old one. It was quite chunky and didn’t create dust and didn’t get stuck in her toe beans. But it became remortgage your house expensive. Maybe we should move to a non clumping, my mum uses this recycled paper one which seems good.

I want to get both cats a lion cut for summer but Melbourne weather is so unpredictable, I'm not even sure what kind of summer we'll have yet.
It could be anything from rainy to scorching hot and everything in between!

I'm really keen to have Dylan done, too. I think we should just do it. You know they'll find a way to keep warm

Dill-baby! Last time we had Thor done I put one of my old, small tops on him. He looked so cute in his little Cannibal Corpse t-shirt.

Cleo is now the most independent cat, I don't let her outside but I allow her in the stair so she can sniff around. Then again as soon as she hears one of my neighbours she runs straight back upstairs 🤣 where did my baby go??
