It's funny isn't it,that people have "the time" to send multiple offers, and messages like "have you sent yet" in under 24 hours since they bought it. But then suddenly they don't have the time,to collect it or okay the item. Very strange 🙄🤔
seller Sent me a offer Monday I brought item still not sent 😤

Someone hassling me because they haven’t had their refund yet for an item they didn’t bother to collect.

Does my head in. I just hope she they don’t cancel the item because it’s something that’s hard to get hold of and I want it 🤣.

Nearly fell off the sofa when I checked my phone and saw a message saying "I hope you don't mind but to keep in my budget I'm making an offer" and she'd asked for £1 off 😭😭😭😭

The old I've been having issues line to excuse not sending an item I bought.

And yet the day I bought it you messaged to say thanks, then didn't log in to vinted at all until it autocancelled. Then within minutes messaged apologising.

Just admit you forgot/were too lazy to post. Happily I'd already found another one in better condition cheaper which has already been delivered (love a seller who posts the day of purchase and the courier pick up times aligned so it was delivered 36 hours later!).

So as predicted the account I reported apparently breaks no guidelines. Even though they have their own brand name taped to the boxes of shoes, that are all identical apart from colours, some are the exact same . Trainers in multiples of the exact same and 300 plus items. Yet here I am not used the account in months, under 30 items and get restricted.

same and I like to release payment ASAP If it’s clothing I’ll even open package on way back to car have a quick look and press ok. And ive even got in car at 10/11pm and dropped parcel at InPost if someone brought while I’m pottering about before bed.

How are people listing vintage stuff on Vinted, I have a few 80s and 90s odds and sods that just aren't getting views and I feel like I'm missing a trick? Like are there particular brand name tricks or keywords that are used? I know people list vintage homeware under Reclaimed Vintage and so on

These people don’t know what they are buying but making offers anyway. Who does this on the high street? What if the description on both said ‘it’s broken / doesn’t work. Sold as seen’?!

I had a guy who didn’t send an item for a whole week and when I contacted him to say are you going to send this or can you please cancel? He replied to say ‘I’m a single father’. When I did eventually receive the item he pressurise me to accept it as everything okay within hours. I thought what a bloody cheek.

In short they're not selling lol. I sell (well try to sell) mainly Vintage. I think the issue is there's a lot of stuff that's Shein etc and not actually Vintage and it's put people off. Also I think the main buyers of these things buy from Whatnot as it's much cheaper, also there's a lot of competition against the sellers that have a lot of followers. I did sell 2 y2k pieces yesterday within 20 minutes, but think I was just lucky,as it was low-rise stuff that the big sellers sell for 30plus,mine were a lot cheaper.

You've done it all wrong. Apparently you should put "Offers Welcome" and be grateful and not "greedy". Doesn't matter you have to pay for packaging, time, fuel etc. Just accept £3 and put it in a plastic bag 😂🙄

Quoting myself soz. Also the majority of Vintage sellers and buyers, want pictures of it being worn. I had so many messages yesterday asking for that. I do see the items with lots of favourites are being worn, but I am not doing that lol. I saw one today. 1 picture..I mean how does this show the dress ? I haven't cropped this, only the head. It literally shows nothing of the item

Put it in a plastic bag, then they claim its damaged and get it for free.

I did comply but I honestly couldn’t believe the gaul of him. It’s bizarre, strangers giving you their histrionics. I have my own life to shoulder without strangers i’m buying from and the selling to heaping theirs on to me. It’s inappropriate.

I’ve seen listings before where it’s someone in a nightclub with their friends, and you’re supposed to guess which person i’m looking at. What it is that you’re buying?! What are you actually selling here? I just find a lot of people who do this, it’s a bit attention seeking to me. It is kind of like - wannabe model - and most of them are not really model material. I don’t mean to be mean but they’re really not.

I had someone say they were in the middle of a family emergency and could they extend ten minutes before the timer was about to expire. Of course I accepted, and whatever if it was true, but it was odd they managed to post an hour and a half afterwards 🤣
