I bought a nice summer floral top off Vinted last week but the seller mixed up the labels and sent me napkin rings (we have all done it). I asked them to resolve it and send me a label to return they said 'The napkin rings sold for £2 more than the top you bought so would you not want to keep them instead' Erm..... sorry but I can't wear napkin rings on holiday. They have refunded me but I do wonder about the logic of some people.

No one can accuse me of NOT being petty:

Their [40% off] offer on my thing:

My [40% off] offer on their thing:

I’m sure they won’t be offended. It’s just a humble £12 off discount.

'What's the lowest you'll take', immediately followed by someone else buying it for full price = priceless. 😁

Truly don't understand Vinted, was looking for a specific shoe, found a pair in my size but they'd been listed for months. Sent a tiny offer to see if seller was still around. Nothing. Then later this morning they price dropped by a fiver lol, so I bought them for £3 less than I'd originally offered????

Why can’t Vinted allow us the option to write ‘didn’t bother to collect’ feedback 😡😡
We should do one of those petitions where the gov't has to debate the issue in parliament once it hits a certain number of signatures.

'SHOULD VINTED PUNISH BUYERS WHO DON'T COLLECT?' I bet it would hit the needed amount in 24 hrs. 😂

🚨Just had something sell for full price no offer even attempted. Maybe the heat is making people feel more generous 😂

I had a guy who didn’t send an item for a whole week and when I contacted him to say are you going to send this or can you please cancel? He replied to say ‘I’m a single father’. When I did eventually receive the item he pressurise me to accept it as everything okay within hours. I thought what a bloody cheek.
I hope you just replied “I’m a single mum” and let it go to auto complete 😂

In the last thread we were bemoaning:
• the many Vinted glitches including the Royal Mail label fiasco
• people who ask loads of questions but don’t buy
• people who have offers accepted but disappear never to be heard of again
• utter piss takers who expect a discount on top of a bundle discount
• the usual irritants who go straight in with 40% off even if something is listed for a fair price and has just been posted
• the erosion of fair/reasonable pricing by people willing to sell for a pittance or buyers who think that sellers set the postage charge
• poor customer service from Vinted mainly run by AI bots

Started getting posts from this group showing up in my feed, it's usually when the post has got a load of traffic because the person (buyer or seller) who posted is getting absolutely dragged in the comments

"Then one shouldn't be buying glowing cubes" has done me in
