Selling on Depop and Vinted #24 The 40% Off Club

It seems so unfair as there are so many blatant trade sellers and importers of tat (never used to be but it is getting worse by the week). I am sorry this is happening to you and hope you can avoid them doing anything. You would be the worlds worst commercial seller if you left it since september to add stock :)
Thank you lol. I know I honestly don't understand it,I literally just looked on one of my followers page. She lists every single day,has thousands of reviews and 900 odd items up. Not pro.

I’m re selling something I bought as it doesn’t suit me. I paid more than what it costs in the shop atm as it’s gone viral. I’m selling it for what I paid for it and someone sent a screen shot from the website saying I have got the price wrong. duck off.

Omg what a saddo, people don't seem to realise when things are out of stock etc you can charge more, like the ones I posted up thread Tbh they're way off on pricing, but it's their item and can charge what they want. I saw a viral Asda coat last year at 5 times the price

I would,no wonder am on my last legs lol. Honestly people are so dumb. I was watching a live yesterday the man sells "made in Italy " clothing, bought wholesale from a warehouse obviously. The amount of people commenting "oh my god,I went on holiday and saw someone in one of your tops" "hi,I have sent a picture in one of your dresses,I wore it to my mum's funeral" "omg, people are copying your designs,I saw another man selling them"...I mean surely to god you know he doesn't sit designing these things and hand making them. Also he couldn't care less what you look like,he wants your money,he's not your friend. They worship him like some kind of God,people saying "have a drink" every 2 minutes,"get some rest" it's nauseating.

They're gonna have a shock if they ever go to touristy areas in Italy, there's market traders galore who've copied his stuff and are selling it, the whole country is in on it 🤣

They've always sold it everywhere, most Market stalls have had it for yonks lol,it's been in Fantasy Island market in Skeggy and Tenerife Fanabe for at least 10 years lol. Yes,he has all the colour ways and newer designs, mainly that scuba material co-ords that imo look tacky as duck . Oversized baseball tops aren't a new thing lol, they've been selling them since the 90s,usually mega cheap on Boohoo etc as nobody wants them. They go crazy for them 😂. And dresses with the shirred top bit, that you can literally buy at every single holiday resort I have ever visited. It's like he's invented the wheel.

Did our first car boot sale yesterday. Made almost £170 so pretty chuffed with that. We actually didn't bring a lot back with us.

It was all household stuff. We let some of it go way cheaper than I really wanted but 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's gone now.

Going to do another one at the end of the month with what's left, plus a few other things that I can't seem to shift on Facebook Marketplace - I've made about £100 on there over the last couple of months - and also do a rail of summer clothes. Nothing new with tags, just stuff I would probably put on Vinted rather than E-Bay to be honest, and see how it goes. Planning to also do a table with jeans, shoes and bags.

Still haven't put anything on E-Bay or Vinted yet. Had a quick look at E-Bay the other day and was horrified by the sight of "E-Bay Live". I do not want this!

That's really good, well done. I do think many people are sick to death of Vinted now and looking for other options. I wanted to try FB marketplace but I don't want to use my old Facebook account as not used it for about 7 years. It won't allow me to make a new one without id,even with new email address

I’ve just put two pairs of wide leg summer trousers on. Ten minutes later both have an offer for half what I’ve asked for. Get lost!!
Also I try and post same or next day but I ended up trying four inpost lockers before I found one with space tonight. Then ten minutes after I post I get a message to say it’s been collected so they must have had someone collecting late on.
on the plus side the final inpost locker i tried has an Evri, Royal Mail and dpd locker in the same place!! I’ll never need to speak to anyone again 🤣

What’s with the sudden influx of people asking for a photo of me wearing the item? Is that not weird?

Well they've restricted my account for commercial selling ! I literally only went back on to that account this week, and have to go pro. So think it's maybe the end of my Vinted moaning you'll be pleased to know 😢
I’ve just been looking on a vinted uk group on fb and a lot of people today have been blocked due to suspected commercial selling! 😳
