What infuriates me is when she says home workouts aren’t for me, I need to leave the flat. She’s had all this time to just get out for a fucking walk but she doesn’t. The difference walking made to my actual abilities in the gym is astounding and I HATED walking. And it’s so easy. She’s lazy and that’s all there is to it.

AND AND AND, she said her gym workouts are usually on the treadmill on the bike!!!! hahaha I’m so annoyed sorry. I’d rather be out walking in the fresh air than staring at a wall on a treadmill

She keeps cropping up in my explore feed and I do a huge eye roll everytime. I can’t comment on her personally as I don’t follow her but I have been on her page a few times; I really don’t like the BoPo movement as it seems to be right now.. fat women telling people it’s okay to be fat whilst eye fucking themselves on camera constantly. I’m plus size myself, and these influencers I find toxic it is one thing to feel comfortable in your own skin - nobody should be shamed for their body fat thin disabled whatever - but it seems to be mainly hostile fat women telling others it’s okay to be this way, that it doesn’t have an impact on health (yeah right), yet they’re so body positive as soon as someone has lost weight from making healthier choices they’ll completely rip them down. It’s so so so toxic.
I also think these type of influencers are very very self indulgent. & You don’t need to keep posting pictures of yourself telling everyone you love yourself, you can do that just fine by not posting. Hope my rant made sense lol 😂

Has binge eating disorder, but the food network channel is life 😕

Sorry but I have binge eating disorder and have had it in the past (diagnosed and on a waiting list for more therapy) and things like food channels are a huge trigger, and are for many people with BED. The BOPO community havent helped my BED journey as they sort of reinforce that gorging on food is good if it makes you happy, and shoots you down if you talk about wanting to get healthier.

She has totally used this BED as an engagement tool. She overeats, its obvious as she's gained weight....but it sort of seems like she is making light out of eating disorders. Same way she claims she is 'sober' hinting she was an alcoholic.

Is it just me, or does she always seem to be sat in exactly the same spot every time she’s on her stories? It makes her look like she never moves. She always seems to be looking down at the camera so it catches her face from a really unflattering angle too, what’s all that about?

As much as I don’t think ‘social media influencer’ is an admirable career choice, some people do just seem to have a knack for it. Liv isn’t one of them.

I’ve just had a look at the comment highlighting the similarity.... the t-shirts are EXACTLY the same as the other creator, who has been making them since 2016. Liv’s just switched the phrase around, but it is the exact same wording and font. The gall of that. And Liv’s fans are saying there’s no similarity and it’s a coincidence?! They are being hoodwinked. The irony is that Liv IS DOING HARM by copying and plagiarising another creators work, yet again. Has she a creative or unique bone her body?
Also I agree that she should be telling her cult-followers to back off the commenter, if she’s DM’d her and they’re al good, Liv should be confirming that for all to see.

Liv is just about one of the grubbiest and unkept “influencers” out there. She always looks dirty and smelly. I couldn’t deal with watching her gross hair and shitty makeup any longer and unfollowed a long time ago.

She does nothing to help her mental wellbeing. Instead of setting your "career goals" I use the word career loosely! as being an influencer, where you open yourself up to scrutiny on a massive level, why not be productive cos I'm sorry, trying to sell me sex toys when you repeatedly say you have zero sex drive is the most disengenuous load of crap, and get an actual job. Where you contribute to society. Instead of relying on being a fake personality to sell shit to gullable people. She's the most lazy, slobbish person I've seen in a long time. Does nothing but nap, eat and make shite content. The woman needs a head bobble and to get real.

Maybe its just me - but I don't personally like influencers whose only job is IG, I love accounts of people who also have careers /families/interesting hobbies etc AND do Instagram alongside. I find it more inspirational and gets me motivated to try new things, embrace new challenges. "If she can do *insert hobby* with a full time job, then so can I". I became a runner through following someone on Instagram who had an account totally unrelated to running but used to often update and their running journey! I am thankful to Instagram for accounts like that :) I'm training for a half marathon now!

She's probably taking tiktacs for the "gram" there's nothing wrong with the girl other than she's a lazy self absorbed grubby little slob.
Unless she gets depo injections, there is no way she is bipolar if she is only taking Sertraline. Nobody with bipolar can just take an anti depressant due to the risk of mania or hypomania..

Unless she gets meds a different route which I dont know if she does.

Also what was with thr dramatic pill swallowing.

💤

Also, did anyone see the story she shared from one of her followers. Basically liv was being thanked for the med reminder. Honestly, if you need someone online to remind you to take your medication, as a grown adult, you need to give your head a wobble.

Also, the other story where someone has "advised" about the way she took tablets 😆 im creased. They only take them that was on TV for the effects.

Seriously?????

Any excuse to mention the medication.

Missing one tablet isn't ideal but the medication stays in your system (blood brain barrier) for longer than 24 hours so highly doubt just missing 1 tablet will cause a rapid decline.

A bad day is possible regardless....she blames every low period on meds. Meds or not we have shit days!! She doesn't seem to accept that.

I cant remember who mentioned being wary of mental health awareness pages. Trust me, not all of us are like Liv and many of them. The only thing I want from my page is to raise awareness of BPD (not all of us are like the ‘typical’ BPD patient), help others and share my recovery story. I’m very much still in recovery, only just coming out of a very long hospital stay. I share what I have been up to, self care or distractions etc. I definitely don’t dance in my underwear or share sex stories 😳
Liv really does piss me off. Boring as hell and just feeding into the stigma too I believe.

I am unemployed at the moment as I’m getting used to ‘normal’ life after a long stint in hospital. I am quite reserved, I like my space, but I am really struggling with the lack of human interaction. I have set myself a goal of going back to part time work by June and back to education or full time work in September.
it is unhealthy to be sat at home all day, every day. A job gives you a sense of purpose. Having an Instagram account is not the same. I have one myself and it has helped me form new relationships but it’s not going to be a long term job.
Also, she says she is all about self love, that includes nourishing your body. She talks about having an eating disorder but in the next breath is saying she is happy the way she is. You cannot be happy with yourself with an eating disorder, speaking from experience!
I don’t even follow her but she comes up in the explore page and it infuriates me for some reason.

I think a pd would make more sense, and she shouldn't be ashamed of admitting it. Someone very close to me has bpd and is a "textbook case" in that she ticks off all the major symptoms. Her emotions go from sky high (but not manic - for example I am having such a productive day!) to something minor pissing her off (she'll take a comment the wrong way) and her suddenly getting a temper to her realising she's been a bit extra with her anger and then getting really down, resulting in her being in a state where she could seriously hurt herself. It doesn't happen as much now she's been to extensive therapy and recognises triggers, started on several different meds that makes her feel more herself, etc. I know a few others with bpd, ocpd and avpd and again they have recounted similar stories or know their triggers. If Liv in the middle of the day in very excitable about something and posts about how she's gonna be so busy on her story and then we get to the 2am crying suicidal stories then it would make sense that she might be going through this cycle. Maybe a nasty comment set her off, or James and her had a mini fight - but as others have said, bipolar doesn't really work in that way (its very much a stereotype of the illness).

Also, the person close to me can be VERY compulsive - whilst she doesn't have an ED will if she's going through this cycle may overindulge when she's happy ("omg I went to the store and bought all these sweets cos they look so good, I'm gonna try them all") or perhaps when she's at her lowest for comfort. She also does this with spending and even cleaning. So if Liv was untreated for a pd then this might be a compulsion if she's going through mini cycles of emotions.
I completely agree with you. I’m not a text book PD case. Maybe Liv isn’t either and therefore thinks she doesn’t have a PD. I have long periods of stability and long periods of low. I used to be terribly impulsive especially in regards to self harm (I am over 120 days incident free 🙌🏼).

she needs to take time off of Instagram, get a decent home routine in place, including house work. I mean, none of us like housework but it has to be done! She needs a proper filming, editing and upload schedule and actually put some effort in but I don’t think she is cut out for it it. She needs to get a proper job. She loved caring for her Nan so why not be a support worker or HCA? It will give her some purpose.

Yes but the OP said a depo injection, which is for contraception
I meant for mh but obviously i typed it wrong, surely everyone knew what I meant! Jeez

Anyway, I personally think liv needs to step away from social media and stop allowing herself to be enabled by some of her followers. I have mental health probs as I've said in previous posts, and the reason I dont think she should be online atm is because she is joking about lockdown being the end of her, when there are suicidal people who follow her. Also, these vulnerable people are encouraged by liv to reach out to her for help, then liv ghosts them.

Liv isn't stable atm and she needs to deal with herself before putting herself out there

Ps.

I've read her post and I hope this is true about her getting help.

I dont understand, personally, why people announce everything in their life to over 100k people, but to each their own. Its like people who check in on Facebook at a&e, then when someone asks whats wrong in the comments, they respond with its private, pm me 😆

Let's see if this break lasts longer than her other one. I hope the mh team do help her, but I hope she realises that social media can be bad at times and unfortunately, a lot of her followers are enablers

It's the digital creator in her bio that gets me. Creator of what. She creates nothing. Her followers create it by giving her the ideas. She has the most unnatural voice. No charisma. No warmth. No likeability. Just fakeness. Why companies choose her to promote when she just looks so awkward in ads, I do not know. If she's losing followers, hopefully it'll continue. She needs reality. Instagram is not reality.

Must be exhausting living out mental health symptoms all day every day. I dont doubt the message of it's ok not to be ok is a good one. I don't believe she gives off that message most of the time. To me I find it quite a toxic message of dwelling on negativity, and doing the things that might increase issues for anyone with a mental health problem. Seeking validation and reassurance from complete strangers. I personally find it difficult to understand why at 2am if in tears and suicidal it's a time to film yourself. My personal experience is that filming myself would be the absolute last thing on my mind. Of course everyone has their own way of coping. I just wish she would shake herself out of living out daily the symptoms of bipolar disorder and preaching very bad habits. She could do so much good by showing that a healthy lifestyle would help endlessly with her mental health. I dont often get positive messages from her posts, I find her messages toxic, very unhealthy both physically and mentally, and it makes me uncomfortable that she needs to be admired all the time. She will never move forward if she stays in the constant cycle of living and breathing mental health and obesity. This I find to be across most mental health accounts, they can never move on from the bad, because they feel like then they lose the main reason of having a mental health account. Everything is over analysed and related back in some way to a past issue and some kind of mental health problem. I find it all quite toxic. I also dont think she is always genuine with her issues and they are inflated for content. That is just my opinion, I dont know her in real life, just the impression I personally get.

Annnnnnnd she's back in her underwear! I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she did a only fans at some point seeing as she's slowly becoming a narcissist despite apparently suffering with crippling anxiety and she's desperate for money. Her once relatable personality has turned into glorifying eating disorders and using depression to get followers. What an absolute twat.
💤

She is one extreme or another.

Depressed and "so so low, lost" etc.....to now dancing in underwear.

She has stated she has an ED but continues to glorify her weight, eating, food

Huh 😕 Sorry I just dont get it

So she’s really conscious of posting fashion photos, but perfectly happy to pose in ill fitting underwear. Even when the post has nothing to do with body confidence! Like the most recent one is about depression & her grandma passing, and she’s in underwear in the picture? She’s so weird.

I've not been on her page for a while as she infuriates me. However, having just gone on, and reading the "attempted suicide" post, it's pissed me off more. If you're gonna do it, you don't lay there for hours and hours. You do. You don't think. That's the thing. Thoughts are gone. You shut off. You shut down. And you do. She's full of shit. Just another made up lie to gain attention and followers. She makes me sick. Literally, sick to my stomach with her lies and portrayal of mental health. She should be utterly ashamed of what she has become. From a wholesome, supportive, relatable person, to a calculating, dishonest, dangerous liar. I hope no one falls for this crap. Olivia if you read here. Get psychological help. You need it.
