came on here to say this - and disingenuous and entitled, tries to be all “I’m such a cool bohemian mum” but doesn’t want to slum it. Her choice to take the kids out of school and do it all on an apparently tight budget, so own it like an adult and deal with the consequences of your decisions instead of begging.

People like her don’t ever have to deal with the consequences of their actions.

There is always some rich relative to bail them out. some lucrative contact to offer them a job.

they are never truly out on a limb on their own. she is in no danger of getting trapped somewhere with her children starving. There is always the back up of a her upbringing and life to fall back on. people to call who will just have a jolly good laugh at good old bohemian Molly and bail her out.

My hot take she’s a privileged woman who had a cushdy career, got lucky with a successful business - life was sweet, she was ahead of the curve on the instagram/influencer scene - but she was a one trick pony! She never mentions her co founder Sophie who was the brains behind it all. They are both rich entitled people who have rich parents to rescue them if their business fails.

I’m not saying donating to charity is a bad thing but more and more of these IG brands are stating they donate a “percentage” to whatever charity and to me, that just screams like they are using charity to make sales.

as a cancer mum I can hand on heart say that Jo from scamp and dude genuinely supports cancer families through her campaign where you buy an item pledge for an item to go to a cancer family. And many of us mums in the club welcome her advocacy especially for parents raising funds for overseas treatment or in need of transplants. X

It would be amazing for her to take them for a whole summer, not out of school mid year..

It also seems rather unethical to do this to an account which exploited brands and the *free* work of other people to grow those followers. I wonder how much Trussell is going to really get out of the sale. Only a tiny percentage of her jumper proceeds went to the charities she used to use to get people to buy them.
