This twitter thread is absolutely biased in ever sense of the word, but it’s still very telling how twisted and misconstrued the hate to Hailey Bieber is from this timeline.
My main take aways from this are:
-Selena is better left offline, if she refuses to accept that her shadiness causes her fans to be absolutely feral then she needs to stop online interaction.
-She really needs to get over Justin lmao
-Damn they all got around a lot

It also fails to mention Justin was dating Selena around the time a lot of it happened and was known to cheat. Don't blame her for sticking up for herself tbh

I dont think fans help situations like this. Especially as many of them are so young. They have tunnel vision. Everything is black amd white to them their idolis perfect and anyone that offends them even slightly is evil and must be taken down.

Yeah, I think there is a fair bit of that. Fandom wars are bad enough when they involve TV shows or music, let alone when it extends to real people as well.

Hailey was roughly 16-17 during this time. It's not unusual for teenage girls to do weird shit. Plus the fact other fans her age were doing the same thing. I believe Acacia Brinley was accused of stalking Jairus too. It's just "weird" because we didn't have fans growing up and couldn't DM them cringy things. Also, keep in mind Selena is older than everyone else but is acting the least mature.

The maturity level between 26 and 30 is hardly different though.

I know this thread isn't about justin/Hailey, but does anyone else think it's odd that Justin posts so much about Hailey, but she hardly posts him? Her Instagram is always pushing her beauty products. Justin's rarely mentioned, and when he is it's like one line, whereas he'll post a paragraph about her

Part of me thinks she might feel insecure posting him because people will turn it into "you're using Justin for likes"

(But then again I'd say she was using his success when she tried to trademark Bieber for her beauty products but Justin stopped it)

He did. Their whole relationship is weird to be honest, I don’t get the vibe they’re that into each other.
I don’t think Selenas actions are reasonable at all, but the people who are acting like hailey is some angelic child is bizarre.
She’s a 26 year old woman who acts like a mean girl, is rude to fans and treats hospitality staff like crap.
Her eyebrow video was clearly mocking Selena too, and she’s made many videos with very “coincidental” timings in the past.
It’s the typical kind of bullying you see in mean girls in high school who do it subtly and then act all innocent because technically you can prove it.

Not a single person is saying Hailey is an angel, no one involved in this is an angel.

Selena is embarrassing there was absolutely no need for her to comment on this TikTok at at all she could easily of ignored it. Also yes there might be some interviews celebrities do when they’re asked a personal question that catches them off guard but a lot of the time questions are approved by the celebrity and their team beforehand so in these interviews Selena does she has approved of the topic of Justin being brought up.

Look at the amount of time she’s spoke about her relationship with him since things ended in 2018 she is clearly not over him at all and she wants to still talk about her relationship with him I don’t know if it’s cause she’s bitter about things ending or if she’s mad at him so wants to keep associating his name with hers so that he’s still reminded of her or if she’s so unhappy in her life that she doesn’t have a boyfriend and isn’t married so keeps talking about her relationship with Justin cause she can’t get over the fact he didn’t marry her but either way I don’t understand why she is that desperate to keep the conversation about her relationship with him still going when she should want her name associated to any work she does she should want to be known for that and talk about that but instead most people think of Justin and Hailey when they hear Selenas name.

I get that Selena has super fans who are obsessed and do way too much at times but Selena is responsible for a lot of that she starts drama , releases songs saying she was replaced after 2 months , says she was emotionally abused by Justin and has liked tiktoks about Hailey ‘bullying’ her. She has encouraged her fans many times. In no way am I saying Hailey and Justin are perfect and innocent they’ve all done things that are odd but Selena is on another level she needs to stop and get over him already.

I don’t mind her releasing music that mentioned/references their past since pain is art and all that, it’s the liking of the comments and making the sly digs and then claiming she’s all for love that pisses me off. You can’t have your cake and eat it, either openly be a petty bitch and rock that or remain a whimsical (I love everyone) goody two shoes. Bouncing between the two of those and crying when you get called out is annoying and boring.

Yeah I should of phrased that better , I don’t mind her or anyone releasing music cause sometimes the songs are art and can be very good too but what I meant was if she’s going to release a song talking about her past relationship in a negative way saying she was replaced then of course her super fans are going to jump on that and be mad at Justin and hailey. So when Selena releases a song like that or anything she knows her super fans are going to react a certain way. I find it sly when she acts all innocent.

I genuinely think she should remove herself from the show business and solely focus on Rare Beauty & philanthropy/awareness. She’s getting more and more insecure as time goes by and is plastering nonsense all over social media as a result. She’s got something good going on with her make-up brand, she can easily stop acting and still make tons of money.

Apart from Rihanna, very few celebrities have managed to build a solid and sustainable makeup or beauty line. She honestly needs to get it together.

Selena is in talks to sell Rare Beauty, so I'm guessing she's cashing in while the iron is hot.
