She wants people to listen to her when she’s going on and on about her past relationship with Justin bieber and wants to talk on repeat about how she’s single but when other people including fans of her ask her to show support or speak on something she will play victim and make everything about herself to get sympathy it’s bizarre how she does it. Yeah she doesn’t hold the power to stop what’s going on in the world and yeah a post can’t stop what’s going on people understand that but she has a huge platform and huge influence on people of all ages and this could of been an opportunity to use her platform for a lot of good.

All she had to do was educate herself on what’s going on and there’s so many people she could of asked to educate her and then she could of spoke about everything in some way but the way she words things is very bad and it’s just her making it all about herself. People are just surprised by her silence for so long on what’s happening when this is the woman who said she wanted to be remembered for talking about , fighting for , speaking up and spreading awareness on serious things like this that are happening in the world. Maybe that was just an act she put on her in documentary to look perfect and nice. Liking Amy Schumers posts was not a smart move.In one way it might of been better if she said nothing at all and didn’t go near her phone because what’s she’s said has only shown how she plays the victim.

Sorry this is long. Selena posting on Instagram isn’t going to bring peace to the Middle East and it wont stop what’s going on. Nobody was asking or expecting Selena to stop what’s happening cause she doesn’t have the power to do that but Selena inserted herself into all this by liking certain things that wasn’t a smart move to like. I think her mistake was not educating herself.

Now if she had stayed silent it probably wouldn’t of been as big a deal because like you said she’s a pop star she’s not involved in politics it’s not her job and she’s not got a degree in it but neither have most of us but we still are taking interest in what’s going on as sad as it is and educating ourselves which by how she’s worded her posts and her actions online she hasn’t educated herself on what’s going on and therefore she’s not making herself come across well at all.

Selena has a huge platform she could use to educate others even if she’s unsure of what to say or how to words things there are plenty of people she could of spoke to who could of helped her and she could of helped by showing support and educating others as she has people of all ages who follow her.

Of course she has the right to not share anything at all and there’s other people with big platforms who’ve not said anything so honestly she probably shouldn’t of said anything at all because if you’re going to say or do something you have to really think before you speak, understand what’s going on , understand what’s right and what’s wrong and truly care but Selena didn’t do that so when people called her out for the things she was liking and her silence she played the victim making everything about herself when all she had to do was take time to listen to what people are saying and then if she wants to get herself involved in talking about what’s going on she’ll know how to word things.

She could be doing things privately who knows she could be donating and helping in that way but if you’re doing things privately then there’s no reason why you can’t say something publicly but with how she’s acting online it’s like she’s ashamed or afraid to say anything publicly in support of Palestine.

She could have even avoided it all by just sharing charities. No need to say anything, but shows support and also potentially gets some more people donating too. The issue is airhead celebs think what they’ve got to say is so much more important and has so much more weight than anyone else when really it’s usually just as hollow and empty as their personalities.

Exactly even just sharing charities would of been better than nothing that way she wouldn’t need to say anything wouldn’t have to worry about how things are worded but would be still showing support and like you said potentially get some more people donating. I couldn’t of said it better some of these celebs think what they have to say is more important and make it about themselves taking away from what is actually important.

I like Selena and think she’s relatively harmless but she seems to have gotten less mature and developed more of a victim complex with age. Also, i hate to say it, but she doesn’t seem very smart (based on things she’s said and done) while Taylor has a good head on her shoulders. With that said, they’ll probably remain friends for life because Taylor cherishes the few friends that have stuck with her through her low moments and Selena is definitely one of them. She’s always had her back.

I'm sure Taylor does cherish that friendship but she's also a good business woman and thrives and thirsts after positive public perception. I say that as a fan. If Selena continues to make a twit of herself on social media regarding such sensitive and serious issues like this, she'd be smart to keep that friendship out of the spotlight going forward.

Selena could probably use some social media sensitivity training tbh. She could also get the CEO of her company in line when it comes to what they're posting on Twitter. Rare is taking a hit on sales and rightfully so, imo.

A quieter private life not online would be better for her cause reading all she’s said I’m cringing this is embarrassing for her.
