Good to see Freddie Flintoff smiling and looking like he’s getting there physically.

I hope his mental health recovers well too.

I think it’s a disgrace that an accident of this magnitude has happened again on TG - serious questions to be answered, I think, and probably time to put the show to bed.

Switching topics; I saw Nish Kumar has commented on the fact that no one wanted to work with Russell Brand, hence his TV work drying up.
And that there were other names in the industry who women (young women I think he says) are told to avoid, and to not go into their dressing rooms!
It’s absolutely crazy that this is how bosses address the problem 😡

Walliams....

Yeah, although I don’t think just him; seems there are others on the circuit.

Also, someone mentioned on the last thread that the DM seem to be going after Jonathan Ross. It’s struck me that he’s been pally with both Brand and Walliams in the past 🤔
Either he’s a very poor judge of character, or he’s every bit as sleazy as they are.

I think Jonathan Ross is immature - he's still the cocky teenager thinking it's all a big laugh as long as it's not impacting him directly. So, while there may not be any dirt on him, he won't care about the dirt on anyone else as long as there is a joke or two in it.

Not sure where I have seen this but I think historically, JR is known and open about his collection and obsession with hardcore porn. Pretty sure he has discussed his interest in sexual deviance too. Not suggesting anything untoward outside of his marriage - what he does in private is his business, except he made this part of his private life public. just remember feeling a bit icky about him at the time.

Does anyone else remember the rumour/story from about ten years ago, possibly longer, that Jonathon Ross had a fling or affair or whatever it was with a woman who was vulnerable and had mental issues, who then tried to harm herself? I think it was something that was on Twitter and he was never named but people put two and two together and worked out it was him. I’m probably misremembering a lot of of but I remember it being discussed on Digital Spy.

I am loathe to borrow the shade due to JR: one of his daughters has a variety of health issues which she shares on main stream media, seemingly acting out in plain sight some form of psychological distress. Any other set of parents might discourage her compulsive candour & protect her privacy. Other parents may not.

The fact that Jonathan Ross was able to replace Russell on Roast implies that Jimmy and Katherine don’t have a problem with …I think he is just really immature, and extremely desperate to be liked by the cool kids of the day.

On the subject in the previous thread about Winnie Harlow. She was on America’s next top model, called something else though. And she was vile on it, really unpleasant and a trouble maker. I guess she did something right though 🤷‍♀️
ETA she was called Chantelle and apparently was inspired to change her name by Winnie the Pooh or something. As you were

Think that was about Gary Lineker

I’ll probably get roasted for this but I firmly believe that, without the skin condition, Winnie Harlow brings nothing new to the table. She’s just a generic, attractive model the type of whom are churned out in vast numbers.

You're just stating the obvious. It's her skin condition which makes her different and instantly recognisable.

I remember her on ANTM too and she was vile.

She won, not because she was the best contestant but because people love to virtue signal. Her entire career is pointless virtue signalling

This was written by a lawyer who went to a conference where Camille Vasquez, JD’s lawyer, was giving a talk.
She’s obviously worded it in such a way to be able to deny it but why would they do this if JD was meant to be innocent? It was obviously a tactic used to traumatise someone and try and make them act out in the stand. Disgusting.

I read that this morning. I’m no Depp supporter in the first place, but this is absolutely disgusting and definitely done to retraumatise. Even if you have to resort to such underhand tactics, WHY would you freely admit it? Horrible behaviour.

Pete Doherty as mentioned at the end of the last thread.

This story from Crazy Days and Nights is meant to be about him. I know we have to take that site with a pinch of salt. It could be total fiction, but it’s always haunted me, it’s so dark and disturbing.

Re Tommy Cooper: He also arranged for a friend of his to call his assistant/mistress and pretend to be a manager of a club which she had recently been to. Pretending to be the manager, he “complained” to her that she had laughed too much at the show and that she was scruffily-dressed, telling her to never again come back. Needless to say, she was very upset, humiliated, and in tears after the phone call, at which point TC burst out laughing and told her it was a prank. Such cruel devaluation.

~~~
On another note, I can’t believe that Michelle Trachtenberg is only 37! 😟
