He's manager at Derby County who are in a really bad way at the moment. They only have 13 players and are not allowed to sign anymore due to the amount of money they owe, and the way they broke the rules over the last few years. If he is an alcoholic, he would be better leaving, as it's going to be bad for them this year.
I hate all the "Coleen only in it for the money/ status" comments - I honestly don't think that's true. She would have tonnes of money if they split and she would be a lot more respected, she wouldn't be constantly humiliated and would be able to sleep at night not wondering what Wayne was up to. I think she genuinely loves him and wants them to be a family, like someone posted further up he is literally all she has known, she has made her whole life around his and would probably feel that she has wasted her adult life if she were to leave.
He's a dick for putting himself in that position with those "Snapchat models" - even if nothing sexual happened (and I don't think it did or they'd have photographed it) he should never have been in a hotel room with them.

This makes sense when you look at his recent photos. It’s not just the weight gain and aging. He looks puffy/swollen and unwell. As those his liver can no longer cope with the amount of booze. That accelerated aging isn’t just about genetics. It’s far more to do with alcoholism.
He loooks like Gazza at the start of his decline into ill health.
Also it didn’t occur to me but if alcohol is such a problem then girls just won’t be. Those messy pathetic fumbles will be all that happens. Booze being far more important. His libido will be non existent.
The quandary is how much is he actually helped by being supported by the club? It’s stopping him fall to rock bottom which might be the only thing to get him sober. At some point everyone needs to cut him loose if love and care aren’t helping him. And hope that works. He looks like someone who is drinking himself to death right now.
The club will be doing nothing, it's in the tit, and owners are trying desperately to sell. They bought Rooney in as a big advert to get sponsorship, attract more players, new owners etc. and it's blown up in their face. They couldn't care less about Rooney, despite what they say.

I had a friend like him. Maybe 10 yrs older than Wayne but hadn’t had the excesses of lifestyle Wayne has. He hit that stage when it suddenly become very obvious he was unwell and showed in his looks/health/ageing. He was such a great guy - a good man, but no doubt a bleeping nightmare to be married to. I think his wife had a miserable time and eventually kicked him out. I don’t blame her at all. She was right to. He was drunk all the time and had lost his (high status) job. He also had a very young son he adored.
The last time I saw him he was crossing the road in front of my car. He was carrying cheap tins from the Offie. I beeped and waved at him and he waved back. He was dead a week later. It was very hushed up and his family took him back to where he was born the other end the country, and had a very small private funeral. I don’t know if he died from alcoholism/drunken symptoms or took his own life. I suspect the latter. It seemed like a very fast deterioration. Just such a bloody waste.
edited to say: I’m not belittling alcoholism. I think it is an insidious disease. I do wonder if their (past clubs/agents etc) covering up of it with Wayne is far more about protecting their interests and image, than actually doing the best for him.

For anyone wanting a glimpse of TH’s parts you should watch Bronson. There is a scene when he is flailing around naked and you get a good view of it. As I remember it wasn’t a particularly pretty one and reminded me of a short elephant trunk.

I remember watching lots of You Tube clips of a Swedish film Alexander Skarsgard was in, which had lots of nudity and made it very obvious that he was very *blessed* in that department.

Yep, very much so. I know of a former footballer who gave an agent their first start (family friend or something like that) was with them for years (racked up a good amount of commission), but when the footballer was released, couldn't get another club etc., the agent didn't want to know.
I think that says something about your taste in socks - or in men.
