Wanted to check it was ok for me to share before I posted but I have a friend who works in the media, who has worked with several celebs...here are her opinions

Ant and Dec : Ant - polite, very professional but very much a closed book. Dec - absolutely delightful - warm, friendly, will chat to anyone.

David Walliams- terrifying, in a psychopathic way. An absolute Jekyll and Hyde. Will be screaming absolute vitriol in his PAs face, then someone he deems 'worthy' walks in the room and he suddenly snaps into the charming persona.

Piers Morgan - didn't expect much but apparently actually really lovely in person. Makes the effort to speak to everyone.

Charlotte Crosby - very friendly but constantly off her face and had noticeably bad personal hygiene

Holly and Phil - both rude and obnoxious

David Mitchell - her favourite person to work with. Incredibly witty, just a lovely lovely man, his wife is also a delight

Romesh Ranganathan - exactly the same as on TV. Very sarcastic and dry, but nothing bad to say about him

Rachel Riley - a delight in all ways

Stephen Fry - fairly obnoxious in a 'don't you know who I am' kind of way

Remember that someone took of her in the toilets where you could clearly see a line in front of her? Her management told everyone it was a reflection and then managed to make it disapear.

Also when she attacked the toilet attendant she allegedly called her a 'f**** jig aboo' which is obviously not racist at all is it?

Cheryl is a cunt. Ive never liked her, I've never bought into the nations sweetheart bollocks because she isn't a sweetheart. She's a rough, common , foul mouthed violent from a rough as family .

They look like mother and son and have about the same sexual chemistry you’d expect if that was the case .

I disagree with this. If they were trying to look black the main thing they would change would be their hair and their accent. It’s not like real black girls have cartoon hourglass bodies and pinched noses anyway. Also many black girls are following this awful trend.

Kim Kardashian actually made herself look less Armenian with all her surgery. Look at old picture of her from before 2006, she was an obvious WOC. Even as a child. Kourtney hasn’t changed at all, facially. Also Khloe, who apparently has a white bio father, has arguably made herself look slightly more Nordic with her recent tweaks and photoshops.

Kendall just looks more generic. I believe she’s had a brow lift. Kylie is the only one you can say who might be trying to look more “black”, but I would argue that that is because white features such as thin lips are derided.

If any white title aw trying to look less white, that’s because white people are demonised.

Khloe kardashian has spent her entire adult life trying to look like her sisters and break free from the “ugly one” tag. If you look at Kim Kardashian pre surgery and treatments - she looked European, olive skinned yes but there are plenty of dark haired olive skinned Europeans. Like I said they pick and choose what they perceive to be the most attractive parts of another culture. The hair braiding, the bums, the fashion and even down to the men they pursue and date it is all part and parcel of the same thing. The same features found naturally in most of the ethnicities they pinch from are seen as more desirable and attractive when a non ethnic/black celeb decides to “try them on” for size.

Also I can’t with “trying to look less white because white people are demonised” white and western beauty standards are THE standard and have been since forever. So much so that the aforementioned “black/brown fishing” and augmenting certain body parts isn’t given the attention it deserves outside of BAME press/media.

I really didn't want to comment on this because I tend to ignore all the z Listers and their photos that come up on "celeb" gossip and also I don't come this thread for debate. I do agree that the trend for big butts has originated from non European whites, be it black, Latino or South Asian but having fillers to the face and larger lips isn't to be ethnic it's just a stupid trend, just as was once a upon a time the trend to have horrid over plucked eyebrows, and recently the awful thick pencilled in eyebrows- nothing to do with copying women of colour.
So apart from butt and tans they aren't try to emulate women of colour and disrespecting their history, in face it seems they are trying to look like generic aracial(?) sex dolls. Black and white women are using contouring to shape their nose or cheekbones, Boy George used it on his neck to look slimmer!!!
And I've issue with the term of culturally appropriating anyway, what's the issue with non blacks having corn rows, or different cultures wearing traditional costumes of other nationalities with respect and not mockery and for goodness sake of we all apparently came from Adam and Eve we're all the same.
Also to apply if there's nothing wrong with black people (beyonce) straightening their hair or bleaching it blonde like Caucasian hair and vice versa.

We are not all the same and we aren’t all treated the same heck we aren’t even at a point where we are all treated with some degree of equality. But, I don’t want to derail the thread. I’ve added my tuppence and stand by it.

I met Camilla and Jamie at an airport. She was lovely and let me have a photo with her and Jamie and checked to see if I was happy with it and asked if I wanted another which I thought was so sweet! They seem very much in love. We had a chat and he's quite egotistical but they're a lovely sweet genuine couple with a lot in common.

Camilla is my old boss and can confirm in person she is an absolute arsehole! Unless she's had a massive change of personality she is up there with one of the most stuck up narcissists I've ever come across

Yeah, she was forced to go on This Morning to grovel to Phil and Holly, Phil was as much as a sanctimonious cunt as always as I recall. Holly shook her head sadly in judgement, then popped out for a fag herself during the break.

I love how This Morning has basically become the principles office in TV land and when ever anyone is in trouble they go on there to tell their side, but also can’t stand to see that smug cunt Phillip Schofield getting on his high horse given all his dubious behaviour over the years. His downfall will be delicious.

There's something about her that is so 'off' and that in no way lets Woody Allen off the hook. He is creepy as f*ck and has gotten away with it for years in luvvie circles. That being said, and also I am a believer of abuse victims always, there is so, SO much surrounding the sexual abuse case around their adopted daughter Dylan (or Malone or whatever the f she is calling herself - Ronan's changed his name as well). If you delve into the case brought against him it's flimsy as f*ck and Mia Farrow was admonished by the judge and health professionals for her inaccuracy, blatant lies, coaching of a child etc etc. Now don't get me wrong, what Allen did was despicable (and I suspect abuse) and she was going for blood. And she used Dylan to get her revenge. Another thing that I really don't like about her is her 'white saviourism' adopting all of these children from around the world. At least one of them has defended Allen and said that Farrow was abusive towards him and the adopted children are scared of her. I totally believe it. This particular guy seems extremely grounded with absolutely no axe to grind.

Many adoptive children have additional needs, and these celebs collect far more than they can reasonably look after. See also Angelina Jolie and Madonna.

Quite often these kids aren’t even orphans, their families just can’t afford to keep them, so are convinced to give them away for a better life.

The adoptive parents pay about £20,000 in adoption fees, and the child is ripped away from their culture and raised in a family where they will visibly not fit in.

It’s completely unethical to sell human beings. Imagine how many families could be kept together if these rich twats donated money to help them, instead of collecting exotic pet baby humans for themselves.

In South Korea this is (or at least was) a particular problem, and it only costs about £1000 donate to keep a family together. So they could save 20 families if they have that much money to spare, instead of selfishly keeping a child for themselves.

I’ve been lurking on here for a while but have finally got around to making an account.

I know it was a few pages back but I wanted to comment on Kim Cattrell. I worked with her on a stage play just after SATC had finished, she was never anything other than polite and professional, certainly not a diva type at all. She took the trouble to write thank you cards to all the crew, I’ve still got mine in the bottom of a drawer somewhere, and took everyone out to dinner. She was dating a young chef who looked a lot like Smith from SATC at the time and he used to cook her meals and deliver them to the stage door. She’s much smaller in real life than she looks on SATC, which makes me think that SJP must be absolutely tiny. I think that’s why SJP has gone from quite pretty when she was younger to a bit horse faced, she’s just way too thin now for someone with a long face.

I love SATC and always feel really sad that the girls didn't get on. It's usually quite telling when there is one person who the rest don't get along with but as far as I can tell KD and the other one who's name escapes me (I'm so tired please excuse me) seem to have some kind of relationship with her. Also SJP was exec producer so she did have the power. I really like KC in interviews. It's quite telling that KC said there is no way on earth she would make another film yet the rumours still persist that she wanted more money, that strikes me as a bit of a PR exercise on SJP's part.

SJP always really annoyed me throughout it and I was a massive fan of the show. I watched it for the other three and not the whiny and ghastly Carrie. She's hardly a great example of a stylish woman; she has mens' hands and feet while looking like an emaciated horse in fancy dress. KC has always come across in interviews as a down to earth person and as someone that I'd much rather spend an afternoon of tea and gossip with, as well as enormously better looking and a better actress. What is SJP known for otherwise, other than having kids by proxy?

Also heard that he’s a strong union man. And that the BBC got fed up with him because he made sure all the crew got their allotted breaks.

Any gossip on Jennifer Aniston. She seems so sweet.

I’ve kind of met her on a plane...the cast of Horrible Bosses 2 were flying to London for the premiere. It was the late BA flight from LA to Heathrow. Hubby and I had tickets in First (yes, I’m a lucky girl!). We were just settling in when on came Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux and Jason Bateman. Was VERY surreal. Also on the flight was Benedict Cumberbatch who was returning from some awards do the previous night. She wasn’t starry or “look at me” - she wasn’t even seated in 1A! I saw her beautiful engagement ring, absolutely stunning. I had to get past her at one point and she smiled at me and moved to one side (she was busy chatting with Jason Bateman). They took her and other celebs off the plane v quickly at Heathrow. That’s all I remember! Most people on the flight wouldn’t have even known she was there.

Look, I’m not trying to start a big Dunblane discussion at all. But equally I don’t think we need to pretend that it didn’t happen because it’s too distressing to think about in detail.

I feel so sad about Madonna. She was such a role model for me. She was sassy, independent, ballsy. She made the most of what talent she had and to a young teen like me, made me feel that I could achieve anything. Now I see a sad parody of this, a woman desperately clinging on to lost youth when she could have aged gracefully and still been an amazing icon instead of some kind of sad clown, held up to ridicule.

It was 24 years ago and I don’t think any of the discussion so far has been gossip-y. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if there was a cover up involving the murderer and his connections. But like seaborgium said, it’s not a rabbit hole I’m prepared to go down. It’s too depressing in too many ways.

He's probably been already discussed. However, Olly Murs (hope nobody is a fan) is probably up there in the most obnoxious ones I have come across. He's often two to two and half hours late, rude to everyone he meets, unless its someone he can impress. A friend did Manchester United's staff Christmas party with him one year, and jeez - his attitude towards a disabled fan still disgusts me. He hated that people wanted to speak to my friend rather than him, and left early as didn't want to socialise with folks.
