My husband and I were watching Friends around season 4, so early naughties. It dawned on me it simply wasn’t funny and after that I couldn’t watch it.
I do really, really fancy Matt Le Blanc in Episodes though. Joey, meh.
However unfunny Friends is, it’s not nearly as dire as How I Met Your Mother.
I’d like to see Stephen Bear languish in a Turkish jail for his treatment of women/girls.
I’d no idea who he was until the last thread and I wish I still didn’t know.
I worry for young adults these days, especially women. The pornification of the world is giving them a worrying and very skewed idea of what a healthy sex life should be.
Love Island and the like has to take the blame too.

Quite an accomplishment when it goes from comedy, to fancying Le Blanc, to lamenting the modern perception of self-worth in relationships, to the effect of reality TV on this generation and their ideologies. You've covered so much ground! (Please note there is not a hint of sarcasm in this. I'm impressed and wish I could have articulated my own thoughts as succinctly!)

Well chuffed for him. In the late nineties and early noughties he was in some good movies and then seemingly disappeared for no reason and hasn't been around in ages. Really happy for him to be in a big movie with big stars and it's no wonder he's nervous when he hasn't been in this position probably for nearly two decades. Hope he enjoys it and gets work again in big movies on a regular basis.

I could be mixing up people / stories here but sure it was him. However it could have been a CDAN thing which aren’t exactly reliable.
Brendan Fraser was so gorgeous in The Mummy, as was Rachel Weisz. They just look so gorgeous here. They should do a new Mummy film now with the original cast. I'd watch.
