I might subtly suggest. I wouldn’t discuss it if they didn’t bring it up first. Probably would carefully with OH or a very close relative but not anybody else. People lose weight, stop addictions when they are ready to. Not because X has pointed out they are making bad lifestyle choices. They are adults, why would you feel guilty about their choices.

If you bring up things with them then there is no reason to feel guilty if they end up in a bad way down the line because of poor lifestyle choices. But if you don't at least bring it up to them I would feel guilty. It's so easy to lose weight that you can do it by being a slob who doesn't exercises and just sits all day watching TV. It's not difficult to avoid or cut down on things like alcohol, chips and desserts and eat more salads.

But if she had a heart attack or whilst young developed life long complications because of her poor lifestyle then how could you have sympathy for someone who wouldn't help themselves.

If its true she paid off the parents mortgage then her mum should do the right thing and sell it to pay back the 50K.

Moffat has probably made the money Betty stole back, and then a bit, from selling the story.
I had a compulsive gambler family member steal money off my parents. We would never have dreamed of telling people. Addicts feel terrible shame as it is, without that.

If she didn't have an affair with any there was definitely a flirtation - there were loads of weird things like she had a photo of him next to her bed that was noticed in the background of a selfie or something like that and they kept being photographed looking cosy. I really liked her on gogglebox then I think she got a bit big for her boots, I hated how she treated that skirt company!

It was bad behaviour on her part.

I think what might have happened is when she tried on the skirt she didn't like how it looked on her but rather than own up to that, she treated the poor lady who made it terribly instead.

I feel that incident was her true colours coming out, as well as the way she played along with the media hinting she had a thing for Ant like with the aforemented photo of him. Very tacky.

Didn’t like her at all on Gogglebox and was amazed she was classed as a ‘celebrity’ for IAC never mind win it. Clearly she was flavour of the month with And &Dec for a while too as she did After Camp and Takeaway but wonder why she got dropped.
Never really been a fan but quite liked that programme last year she and her family did, when they built their house in Africa and they lived next to the locals.

Read the story again and you will see at no point does it mention 50k (that was a figure the Sun made up). It states "a source says she was losing thousands a week and in desperation turned to Scarlett's account". So exactly how many weeks was this going on? Thousands to me is 2-3k thousand a week before you even get to Scarlett's account.

I know it's a gossip site but it irritates me when people take things as gospel especially when it originates in the Sun with no comments whatsoever. Thankfully the daily mail is to be commended because they got the price of her house right!!!

Every celebrity/influencer/whatever has the perfect 'out' when it comes to discussing weight loss which is to say 'As someone in the public eye I'd rather not discuss that, as I have some young fans and wouldn't want to influence them regarding weight loss'.
