I honestly don't know why anyone pays for that site as the pics/videos are always posted on sites for free anyway. I did google why do people pay for OnlyFans and one of the top answers is a man saying he pays because he knows at least the people making the content are fully consenting and enjoy it.

I don't agree. I imagine it's perfectly easy to coerce someone to make an OnlyFans and pimp them out that way.

I'm not against it as a platform, sex work is the oldest profession after all. I just don't understand those who pay for online porn because I am sure it is just as open to participants being abused as anywhere else.

I think a lot of subscribers do it because they get to contact the person and feel like they have some sort of relationship with them. I read an article about someone who did OF and they said they spent lots of time messaging their fans.

The problem a lot of people in sex work find is that it greatly impacts their life and propsects later. Now as she is a Z lister it may not be too bad for her but a lot of people find that once their past is discovered (admittedly doing far racier stuff than SJD) they are asked to.leave their jobs or people stop talking to them.

So for the average 'non empowered' person that can mean they are trapped as their only reliable way of making decent money is sex work even if they wanted to leave that behind.

I suppose it is the same on the other side of the coin for these women like the ones mentioned above who proudly tell us they did porn and now they have a ferrari and own three houses. They are still doing porn though because as lottery winners often find those things have quite the upkeep.
