When he arrived, what did he do? When he witnessed the torture and the beatings, what did he do? His DNA was on the cricket bat and the belt, again, what the duck did he do?

He kept his mouth shut. He looked away. He helped clean up. He got on a plane.

Don't judge him for what he arrived into. Judge him for what he did once he arrived. Nothing.

I figured he would otherwise ten minutes is a ridiculous time to consider and finalise sentencing comments.

I'm guessing if someone makes a compelling point, it may affect the way he was leaning before and cause him to make some changes?

There was no compelling point to make in this case. In other cases, maybe.

I know we knew how bad things were but listening to the judge is heartbreaking. Him slapping her away, them only abusing Sara because she was a girl. Sara, you deserved so much better.
