I think I missed the whole SA saga - so was MD saying that her gf broke up with her because she's south african due to the south african variant of covid? Or have I misunderstood?

I'm getting loads of flashbacks

She used to say that her girlfriend was the love of her life
Then say that she weren't sure
Then said that she got her an engagement ring
Then said they had a spliff and her gf told her loads of things she didn't know and it put it off her
Then came back saying that her gf had swerved her and she was heartbroken

Make your mind up ive got whiplash!!

This is why I came to post on this thread, I feel a bit bad because I don’t post much on the off topic threads here, but I wanted to add my two cents and explain I’d noticed it too on other threads.
For the record, I mainly post on the Jack Monroe threads, despite the “Bob“ in my name I’m a woman! 🤣
I feel like this is a kind of emergency tattle town hall meeting!
