They have genders in lieu of having a personality a lot of the time.
It reminds one of when you have a friend who is like “I LOVE PINK!” And everything is pink the car, the clothes, the furniture, the front door.. every day they have such a laugh about how they love pink it’s their whole personality and they think they’re so quirky

I’ll be interested to see how refunds go as the gig technically went ahead. This is going to be a PR nightmare.

I still think it was a hissy fit.🤷‍♀️

I’ve always thought he looks like the sort of person who will have horrendous stories come out about him in 20 years time
100% agree

Also agree he is responsible for the worst Bond theme ever.

And wow, I thought the only song I liked of his is See You Again and it turns out it's not even his🤣 so I actually don't like any Sam Smith songs 🤣

Im not a fan of Lewis's music but he always seems like a genuine, nice bloke who doesnt take himself too seriously. Never heard anything bad about him either
He’s pretty sound. Just carries on like a normal guy despite being really successful and famous.

I read an interview that must've been one of the first he ever did. He was 16 and was featured in a gay mag as an up-and-coming pop talent. The interviewer said, in the middle of this completely ordinary interview, "You're a bit yummy, aren't you?" It was so creepy - the kid was 16 and was expecting to talk about his music, not his "yumminess". I can't remember his response, and don't know how the interviewer's predatory behavior affected him in the longer term, but now that he's a big star I'd like to think he wouldn't inflict that kind of burden on anyone else, having experienced how gross it is.

Piers Morgan randomly appeared with the following clip. Now hear me out the tongue bit is vile. Haven't figured out the spoiler function yet so if you planning dinner please keep scrolling. Also I'm not a Piers fan

That's proper put me off my supernoodles, the Wump household is saving money currently.
I do like Piers now, and I like him because he just says what he thinks, and doesn't pussyfoot around.

Whats with the devil outfit? he's lost his bloody marbles.
Every few years someone tries to use Satanism/The Devil for attention and he is just the latest to do it. He is getting attention but not the 'Oh my god!' kind. It's more 'we have seen this so many times before it's just dated now' eye rolls.

This get-up reminds me of the Halloween costume version of the devil for kids. They put it on and their parents will pretend they looked terrifying and are scared of them. With Sam, instead of the parents, it's his pals saying 'Yeah, mate you look right freaky and you are gonna have everyone talking!' and while they are right, I don't think us all laughing about how bad he looks was what they meant or what he was after. I'm honestly surprised the COS hasn't threatened to sue him yet for making them look like idiots.

I wouldn't let my 14 year old watch his videos, why is a 5 year old copying his dance moves?! The lyrics to that "body shop" song are so inappropriate.
I would shield my 21yr old from it.
Actually, the only people I'd recommend it to are those I don't like.

My bricklayer friend is offended by some of the comments on here! He has all the dance moves on his tiktok. 🕺

It makes me laugh when people say harry styles is the new Bowie. 😆 Ridiculous. He's not awful, but isn't anything that special either.

Sam is so out of place and uncomfortable with it all that it makes me want to cheer. But the music needs to match the image, it has zero correlation at the moment.
Apologies to your bricklayer friend, but !! Sam is just ungainly and out of their depth and 100 % NOT sexy.

I don't know it's just the way it is,as sometimes a really unattractive person is incredibly sexy and or charismatic. Sam may be a nice bloke for all I know but to me he has no sex appeal. There was a TV prog about Camilla and Charles last night and at one point in their relationship Camilla was torn between Prince Charles and Andrew PB who was a total womaniser. And someone commented that APB had sex appeal and Charles didn't and I had to agree. It's not something that you can quite put your finger on.
Charisma and sex appeal does play a big part actually, I agree.

I find this generation peculiar, why does everyone insist on being put into a box? Why do they need to have a label applied that declares they consider themselves to be male/female/a toaster? Can they not just like what they like, or feel how they feel without shoving it down the throats of relative strangers? I’ve never been the girl into nails and hair but I also don’t want a water snake in my trousers, do I have to declare myself as non binary because I didn’t pick a stereotype to hold aloft as my entire personality?

I haven’t ever given two hoots whether someone refers to me as miss, mrs, she, he, they, queen of sheba or megacunt my self worth is not tied up in a salutation, and I find it baffling that grown-up toddlers throwing tantrums whilst playing dress-up are not only tolerated but borderline worshipped…… it’s just so bizarre
I dunno, not sure it’s a generation thing - I have a friend who is in his 40s who told me a long time ago that he liked wearing women’s clothes. He now tells me he is trans. I was like, no, you just have a fetish for cross dressing. He is married with kids.

Just out of interest (not trying to start an argument 😂) but what makes you say that? Is it their weight? Their personality? The fact that their image has changed so much? Or that it simply doesn’t suit him?

Someone like Harry Styles seems to be better liked and can get away with slightly more outrageous outfits. Is it just because he’s more cool? Better looking? Slimmer?

I’m not challenging you, I’m just intrigued myself because I definitely find Harry more palatable and I don’t know why!
Harry seems comfortable with his outfits, I think it suits him and he has certainly been successful in moving away from the teen boy band look.

it doesn’t suit Sam, I think he has a good voice but he doesn’t seem happy or comfortable in what he wears.

I work in mental health, I have found most people who use they/them are fairly receptive to me apologising in advance if I use the wrong term - I advise that they correct me if I get it wrong - which I often do.
