Yeh papers said when Trevor went on the run wardy took over his patch but then when he came back wardy tried pushing him to the side think whela went with Trevor when he split with wardy.
The original Gucci Gang must have been massive the amount of them that are locked up and dead along with the splits in the gang aswell yet there still going.
Hate to be Wardy anway has whelas crew after him, those two from blanch the Hennessey's and that older crew in finglas with your man mulvey. I know he has links to Jay O'Connor and the Maloney's through Sophie but doubt they will stick there neck out for him and his merry band of kids.
Ye Wardy could've been huge and stayed huge if he just kept his head down. That feud with Sos Mulvey and the rest is over as the lads all got jailed for 1 to 3 years for that. They agreed to stay out of each others way and Sos and Co aren't getting involved with any of this tit going on. At the beginning Wardy had some weight behind him. Absolute headcases who where loyal and would've (and did) kill for him.
Are the Maloneys big players? Never hear anything about the brothers bar Ian. Its mad how connected the gangworld is. Falling in and out with each other like that and swapping girlfriends. Must be a lonely, paranoid world when you strip it all back. No amount of designer gear is worth that.
To be fair the Moloney's are hated and gossiped about by most of Dublin because they're messy tit shows haha. Outside of Ian who continually gets himself locked up they have little muscle. Associations with the Byrnes but there's not much else, despite them all thinking they're the dogs bollix

Dunno about the Maloney's Ian def has a rep and think is well connected with all main players in crumlin as an enforcer and his young bro is good friends with all the younger Byrne crew but you wouldn't know what's going on in crumlin currently.

Sos is out years they all are. It was bringing too much heat and those lads are a bit more level headed and know a feud is bad for business. Truce has been honoured and they just have 2 sit back now and watch wardy hang himself with his own rope. As you said he's wanted by this group and that group so they don't need to do anything.
