What I'd be more worried about is my child's saftey. Too many nutjobs around for my liking.

I never gave away on my SM what nursery or schools mine went to when they were young. I have been very cautious and have zero regrets. My children are my everything, one error or bad judgement will effect a child into their adult years and possibly forever.

100%, I see far too often parents posting very obviously where their children are at school, just insane

This is what I mean about her privilege/naivite - I’m not saying she isn’t aware of the risks from stalkers, AI etc. I think she’s just had such a relatively charmed life she can’t truly believe that this COULD happen to her and brushes off the risks. I’m surprised her father hasn’t advised her better on this frankly, given his job.

I don't have children and wouldn't let anyone vape in my flat for my cats! It's so irresponsible and insane for me

All it was about was Gabbys cousin was sat on one of the children’s beds and said it was vape time and had her vape in her hand. Whether she vaped in the room or not we don’t know but all I said is Saff definitely wouldn’t allow that in her flat. That’s all.

From the very beginning, pregnant with Margot she mentioned her plans and another baby/ies were in it. And quite close if I recall. Once in the throws of experiencing baby/toddler ! ! the gap got pushed back a bit.

I sense Gabby isn't finding it as easy with Caspar, not as good a sleeper.

She was probably brought up by Norland Nannies who referred to it as that

She did sleep training as well, so they probably do more or less literally put her down say good night and then leave. There's even a sleep training method called the 'pick up put down' method. I agree it's a very odd and detached way of putting it though

It is the phrase most parents use when babies/toddlers go down to sleep/bed. It is pretty standard

Gone down or went down is the standard phrase. I live in the south east of the UK, it is the norm

You can't say a baby has gone to bed, they don't sleep in beds. And they sleep in smaller cycles. So gone down for a nap for example.

It’s definitely not a standard phrase unless you’re talking about euthanasing a pet. The baby has gone down, I’m getting the baby down, doing the bedtime routine, doing bedtime, all normal. Doing put down is just wildly detached

Yeh I live in London and I've never heard this at all, it sounds really impersonal if nothing else. Like someone else said maybe something a professional nanny might say
