I'm a Saffa (Bloem girl), and always enjoy visiting my parents in J'Burg this time of year. But obviously this year is very different, and I will be glad to return to England (my 2nd home) this weekend, despite the winter weather

Years ago (oh so many years) I used to go out to an Indie night and the floor would be dead, so I'd literally dance (bounce ) around the floor until people joined in.
It was so much fun! And now I'm old, so living room bouncing is what gets me through!

When I really need a sad song to make me feel worse, it's got to be Country music. My dad was partial to it so I grew up listening to it. The themes are pretty limited - the singer's been rejected, cheated on, lover's died or run off, and if female then left pregnant and abandoned too. Happy stuff
