M. Ward, the whole of the Post War album moves me, but not necessarily in a crying way.

James Blunt - Out of My Mind

And Ash - Girl from Mars, but it's combined with an urge to jump around and dance like an idiot.
Picturing you jumping around like an idiot

I shall hire an all-terrain vehicle - the sort of thing you'd see in the Mad Max films - in the remote hope of seeing that old bag grazing with the rest of the heffalumps, and accidently on purpose running her down
Visions of Lara Croft 😂

Yes we were. I used to have pink sweets for a profile pic but the colour was too bright/loud. Wanted to be a bit more low key 😀
It was about horror movies wasn't it ...you must be my online soul sister 😂 I've only found two others on here that I truely connect with :ROFLMAO:

I’m a fellow Saffa! Hang in there! I know it’s easier said than done but I feel your pain. All my family is there and I don’t know when I will be able to see them again. Stay on here and we will support you!
I'm a Saffa (Bloem girl), and always enjoy visiting my parents in J'Burg this time of year. But obviously this year is very different, and I will be glad to return to England (my 2nd home) this weekend, despite the winter weather

Sometimes you just gotta! Not tonight mind.
Years ago (oh so many years) I used to go out to an Indie night and the floor would be dead, so I'd literally dance (bounce 😬) around the floor until people joined in.
It was so much fun! And now I'm old, so living room bouncing is what gets me through!
Those were the dayz 😂

Tbh I really don't know given the current lockdown/corridor rules between both the UK and SA. But we have Skype/Zoom, which will suffice. Not quite the same, but shit happens I guess
No, not the same but at least you can communicate and ‘see’ each other. Enjoy the sunshine, it’s raining non stop here .

When I really need a sad song to make me feel worse, it's got to be Country music. My dad was partial to it so I grew up listening to it. The themes are pretty limited - the singer's been rejected, cheated on, lover's died or run off, and if female then left pregnant and abandoned too. Happy stuff :)

And no one does heartbreak better than Dolly Parton. To name but a few:

A Habit I Can't Break.
I Couldn't Wait Forever.
Do I Ever Cross Your Mind.
Old Flames Can't Hold A Candle To You.

And my favourite and guaranteed tear jerker: Just Someone I Used To Know.
