I agree, I feel there’s more to the story than a breakup as esp in television I think you’re kind of expected to get on with it, no way would it have been kept quiet for as long as it has been either, says the cynic in me such a shame for Rylan… I never liked Dan I got the sense that he was hanging onto rylan’s coattails a bit

Exactly. It could be cheating alongside other things. I think he would have battled through had it been just the break up. He appears to not be using social media at all which is making me think rehab. I hope he gets the help he needs and comes back stronger.

Cheating may have happened but it could have been whilst under the influence of something perhaps. Anyway whatever is the matter I hope he recovers soon. People who have worked with him have nothing but praise for him.

Pah! Dan doesn’t have the charisma or talent for a career in tv, not that that stops many people anyway (hello Holly, Phil, Amanda Holden et al) but Dan is annoying!

I bet he was so pissed off he chose his mum to be on Gogglebox, that could’ve been his big break & maybe the beginning of the end for the two of them... perhaps that’s why he really left the show?

I listened to the louis theroux rylan podcast today. It was great. He came across as lovely. Would recommend a listen interesting that someone in the business sold his wedding info to the press. He also mentions having agrophobia and not going out anymore.

I just remembered something else he touched upon in the podcast. He said one of his wedding guests leaked his wedding to the papers, and he found out who is was and doesn't speak to them any more. He said he would never reveal who it was but "she knows who she is/what she did"
