Dan only appeared to be interested in a TV career and had made show reels...come on...never going to happen.
Rylan wanted kids, Dan didn't.
Rylan worked very long hours, Dan feeling neglected?
Maybe some sort of addiction, which would explain the 7 weeks off work.

I'd be sadly of the inclination to think it could be some kind of addiction issue. Whatever the reason Rylan seems a top bloke and is extremely talented so I hope he is able to get through whatever it is. I hope also that he can still have contact with his stepson as they seemed very close.

I saw this in the daily mail & thought they were hinting to them having something on Rylan yesterday. They ran a story on how fans were ‘concerned’ as he hasn’t been seen or heard of in 7 weeks & then today this comes out, I think that was a hint to Rylan that we know & we’re going to print it

Sounded like the Sun were sniffing around too. I'm surprised they didn't force him to do one of those interviews where it's "Give us an exclusive interview or we'll print everything we know" - to escape that he must be really respected.

Really hope Rylan is okay. Have been missing him and his mum on the newest series of celeb gogglebox but this makes sense now - hope nothing more is going on though and he’s just taking time for himself.

I think the fact it’s been reported that neither of them wanted to address it publicly so it was best to take the time off was very misleading,
It makes out the reason he’s taken 7 weeks absence from his job is because he doesn’t want to talk about the split.
most people won’t be bothered reading further into it.

I think what is being reported is nowhere close to what is actually going on. Rylan has obviously got himself into a fair bit of bother and is trying to sort himself out. Doubt it has anything to do with dan being jealous or not wanting kids which is how its being reported. Fair play to rylan for taking responsibility thats not easy to do.

Real mental health issues take time to resolve/live with.

I'm with some of the others about the dislike of Dan since his Big Brother appearance.
His personality just didn't match Rylan's to me. I know people say opposites attract but there was just something off about Dan.

I just hope Rylan is OK and comes back stronger than ever

I listened to him in a podcast recently when he said he had real issues going out. I thought then he sounded anxious.I think it is some kind of breakdown plus break up of his marriage, perhaps with a side order of worry about his mum. He has completely overworked himself. He has taken on a lot. He was relatively unknown recently. Now on everything, all tv channels, adverts, radio, personal appearances, and all prime time. I can understand making hay whilst the sun shines but being completely overworked can’t have helped. Who knows. Best wishes to him.

Why do I have the feeling that Dan will do a "tell-all" interview eventually.....

After listening to the Louis Theroux podcast, I realised how private Rylan is. If there is some story to tell I think he would possibly pay Dan off & ask for a NDA.
