Performative mania. The grasping need for validation of ones own existence through acting-out. A need 'to be seen' in order to feel 'alive'. I mean, it's all there on full display. Clearly, there must be people with narcissitic personality disorders in other lines of work but it does sometimes seem that this class of people are specifically drawn into light entertainment/showbiz, politics or broadcast media.
The only crumb of comfort we have is now that Brand has been put on warning he seems to have replaced his sex pest ways with something else. Hopefully women in his orbit are no longer in danger.

There are a suprising amount of people who think he is a wonderful man, a "truth seeker" and that the establishment are bringing him down with the sex allegations, his wife is sticking by him I don't think I could carry on living with a man who has been accused of grape and assault.
