I don’t think he will ever lay low. His whole life has been about ‘look at me’ his behaviour in public is about attention seeking by lewd behaviour. He may well be relishing his notoriety.

I agree with you. He will not go quietly. He has been a sex offender for years and up till now, got away with it. His sick incessant demand for the public‘s attention won’t stop, even if he gets locked up and I wouldn’t be surprised for a book and tour after being released.

He can write the book and do the tour but any profit will be taken by the Court under the Proceeds of Crime Act, in other words he can’t profit as a result of his criminal activity.

Like when he went to Court and was attempting to recite passages from the Bible, until it was confiscated by the Court.

I think he has an account on Tiktok too. The past week almost daily he has popped up in videos about God and spirituality. I dont remember him discussing God before so it seems a bid to overhaul his image. I know religion is part of rehab so perhaps its real but its the fact he isnt going away and keeping things private for the sake of his family.
RB has been going on about being bathed in the light of God since his public baptism by that head Bear Grillis or what ever he is called. Iicr It happened around the time of that Channel 4 documentary.
And no, it isn't real and yes, he has a book to promote.
I’m sure I’m not alone in doubting Brand’s sincerity simply because it is such a clash with his public lifestyle.
He may well be genuine but my concern now is that although he seems enthusiastic I wonder how much serious preparation he has done before speaking publicly. I say this in the knowledge that Ordained priests of any denomination will have studied for 6/7 years, worked as a lay brother maybe in the community and then be ordained a deacon and another year before being ordained a priest.

The biggest cross Russell would have to bear is the need to stfu about his scripture interpretation of the day. People have been analysing his fave book for many many centuries, and imo he should indeed be studying and not teaching.
But Russell loves the sound of his own voice, and attention, far more than he loves the Lord imo.
From his own stories alone, he definitely had messed up relationship to sex from the get go. He's spoken about how he lost his virginity because his own dad hired prostitutes on a foreign holiday when he was a teenager - and his dad was also having sex with prostitutes in the same room at the time. His dad took him to brothels and was also leaving pornography around for him to find when he was younger, iirc. He mentioned being aware of sex when he was like 6 trying to see a house guest naked, even setting up a prank for his mum when he was like 8 where he sprayed foam cleaner and told her his pen had 'got hard' and that came out - how does an 8 year old know enough about sex for that?
Purely my opinion, but even when Russell tries to laugh it off as a funny story, his dad always comes across as a wrong'un because almost all the stories involve examples of 'covert incest'/grooming or his dad being generally neglectful of him. No surprise that his dad was immediately loudly supporting him after the allegations came out, given he was basically the blueprint.
But having a terrible or messed-up childhood doesn't allow you to commit sexual offences yourself. Even if you can trace why he became a sociopath, it doesn't excuse his actions either
I wonder if his wife will go to pieces if he goes to prison?
She will stand by him and get heavily involved in arts and crafts: "Watch me make my husband a crocheted blanket for his prison bunk bed" along with content like "How to be a god-fearing wife when your husband is banged up for sex offences with minors" etc.
She will have a new career option....Leading the campaign to highlight her husband's brave fight to repent for previous misdemeanours in a gross miscarriage of justice. The fight to bring God's love into prison life and forgiving the worst offenders because they are all God's children who have sadly strayed..
