Yeah you send things to influencers before a launch so she can repost content/have hype around it. If they receive it the same time as us non influencers, it’ll be “too late”.

Ruby you wouldn’t know stress if it hit you with a brick. No one is forcing you to take these jobs on. I don’t think you are pleading poverty either so I’m sure you’ll manage fine taking on just 1 or 2. Also I think many influencer’s excessive promotions of Black Friday sales are quite tone deaf given the financial struggles many are facing. But I guess that’s an argument for another time.
Anyway the part that made me laugh was that she does ‘the hard work of trawling through the sites’Fuck off! I do that for a hobby and I’ll gladly do it for free!
I thought she’d say something about how she knows it’s a financially difficult time for many but no, poor me, Black Friday is so stressful. Is she for real?????

Yeah I think it’s lame. She’s handed it over to Trekstock who now manage it once she’d milked it for some more followers and now she’s up and running as an influencer.
LOL if there were rules about snapping peoples cars then every facebook community group would be getting sued to fuck cos they’re posted on them every day!

Yep it’s all over one of her friends stories, (who is private I think) definitely Ruby’s navy kitchen. Although I bet she took her fair share of pics outdoors so she can post them and gloat about her oh so amazing hosting skills
And re the stories lately - she seems to be posting them a few hours or a day or two later?

its hard to get away from the fact she has a very high income earning partner. She can afford to be more selective with ads etc than a lot of influencers because she doesn’t need the money. So whilst a lot of influencers get criticised for too many ads, Ruby gets praised for being more relatable and only posting stuff she loves. Yeah well it’s pretty easy when the job is effectively a hobby and she’s got £2m coming in the door. Also easy to tell other people how to vote and to think of others when you’re sorted for life. The way she carried on over lockdown and complained she was providing free content to stop people being bored really pissed me off.
she barely put out any more content, and to be honest I don’t think she makes that much effort with her channels. Her house is like every other influencers. Blue kitchen, herringbone floor, moulded panelling, pampas grass in vases, neutral colours etc. hardly groundbreaking stuff.
She has a lovely house in altrincham which is one of the richest areas in greater manchester. To be honest I don’t think she likes living up here. She’d move back down south in heartbeat if she could. She doesn’t really make the most of living in Manchester and her recommendations are the most generic / higher end you could pick. I live about 20 mins from her so it makes me laugh when she recommends restaurants round here.
a bit like her recommendations for stay cations. In the lake District she said Low Wood Bay where rooms are about £600 a night. Soooo relatable to all the nurses, teachers, officer workers, receptionists that follow her!

Eta sorry I misread your comment. I don’t think she sounds that salty tbf but it is annoying af when people go places and don’t learn about the culture etc and tbh her trip away looked like a waste, there’s so many things to do in Copenhagen but she didn’t do anything that she couldn’t have done in Manchester
