Saw her new video and came twirl into this thread....
Just in nightgowns and the garden could be more beautiful with some love...
As she cut the stingy nettles I thought she must have seen a video by Atomic Shrimp (imagine HIM twirling in his garden 😂) and then I saw the bugs and she didn't do it right…

I asked myself who filmed this from above, a drone or her mother?
Completely out of touch
100% a drone. I watch Atomic Shrimp as well and I can tell you now he'd be all over her. He often says to people not to forage or pick certain items unless you 100% know what it is and I could totally see Ruby accidentally poisoning herself like that.

I hate to be this person but harvesting nettles in late summer is not really the done thing and she’s know that with just a quick google. The leaves aren’t so nutrient dense after spring, and once they’ve gone to seed like the ones she used they’re not really suitable for making tea. The seeds themselves are quite a powerful stimulant and not to be messed around with.

Absolutely dreading a possible herbalist era. Has she got this from Jade or something?🫣

She did a whats in my bag tiktok a while ago that I’m only just seeing and called a hair tie/bobble a ‘hair toggle’. I do wonder what goes on in her brain?

I'm surprised that she seems quite unhappy in this video. I wonder if she's rethinking her decision of pursuing a PhD?

Also, I would be very surprised if she got a full time job in a library. She would know that she'd have to essentially abandon YouTube, and YouTube probably pays 5x the amount she'd get at the job.

I am also wondering about this. Of course, she hasn't said a word, but if she were starting work at an Oxford library, wouldn't she have to live there or could she commute? I can't imagine her keeping up with a full time job in any capacity, but Oxford would be very demanding. No one is going to keep a lazy employee who is going to fain illness or take a million vacations to film YT material and be with her parents. I would not be surprise if she cries the need for a mental break and takes a year off before committing to anything. What a waste of numerous degrees, though, if all she does is YT with her purposeless content and no working background to refer to. I still say the most she will do is work at her local school library part time until she makes her next move. She seems completely lost.

I literally said 'NO, Ruby!' out loud the second the video started. Please, for the love of God, give me at least a few seconds to settle in before starting up with the nauseating purple prose.

"I never used to wake up early. Even if I did, I never used to go outside." witch, when? We have years of videos that speak to the contrary. I can't recall a single occassion in which Ruby wasn't wake by 8'oclock and outside by 9.

Or she’s telling on herself - we know how much she likes to project an image and mess with timelines 😂 Maybe this is her admitting it’s mostly been lies or staged for her vlogs?

Yup, this is where I'm landing on it, she's just embarrassingly bad at keeping track of the lies she tells, or thinks her viewers have a memory of TWALVE SACKONDS.

99% of the time that she declares that she "AWWWLWHEEEEYS [insert activity here]" or "NAVVER YEESHALLY [insert activity here]" it's a lie. In vlogs when she wants to appear incredibly busy, she insists that she always wakes up early. Here she wants to serve up a miraculous new outlook and approach to life (which looks identical to her usual fake routines, with all her usual end-of-academic-year lamentations about how time is fleeting and HOSSLE COLCHA IS BAD despite her being all in encouraging it), so she claims that the early wake-ups are a brand new thing that she's never done before to act like her life has changed somehow.

She's proven how staged her routines are time and time again, and it's been clear just how disorganised and lazy she is despite her constant insistence that she's THE MOST ORGANISED AND PRODOCKTIVE GARRL HYOO AVVER LIVED, so I'm inclined to believe that her crack-of-dawn wake-ups rarely ever happened in the past.

But I'd wager that she's still lying about it - I don't believe she's suddenly started waking up at the crack of dawn all summer. She just got up a bit early one day to film some backyard footage and insists that now it happens all the time, JANUINELY!

Out of boredom I searched for ‘Ruby Granger morning’ on YouTube and you get an awful lot of results, most of which include times such as 6am, 6.30am, 7am and even a 4am. Most of the thumbnails have pictures of Ruby outside so it seems slightly odd that she is declaring that she NEVAR gets up early and would NEVAR go outside. Unless in Rubyland ’never’, ‘early’ and ‘outside‘ have different definitions of which I’m entirely unaware.

That mold growing on those chairs though ugh. I mean, each to their own taste and all that, but surely dirty, moldy, broken, and rotten isn't a taste?

Given it’s her set for her YouTube she could do with spending some YouTube money on some professional pressure washing and gardening/landscaping services. And a cleaner for that kitchen!

She loves cosplaying the Victorian era a lot, doesn't she? All down to the sanitary houses and things!! 🤣

I think I've said this before but I don't dislike her 'purple prose' voiceovers, just how she does them. They're uninspired, make no sense and are just gibberish really, whereas I watch some creators who seem to reflect nicely about their thoughts and days in a poetic way and it feels really lovely, not like a child reciting a story they've written for English class. It's natural to be lost, drained and just exhausted after university, but this video was just odd, to say the least... 😅 But as others have said, we've gone from that into work or another degree or something, I just wish she'd really understand how good she's got it because she doesn't have to worry, she can just take the time off and recharge whereas a lot of us don't get the opportunity to do that.

Thank God I’ve found this thread! I came across Ruby by accident and ended up falling down a rabbit hole of unbelievable nonsense. The latest video sent me into an absolute conniption fit. She’s a woman in her 20s. So many questions. Why on earth is she prancing around the garden like my 8 year old? Why does she dress and look like a prepubescent girl? Not saying someone can’t dress and style themselves as they choose but when you add it to her behaviour and fake infantile voice it gives a bit of a weird vibe. I wonder if it’s a case of Gerascophobia. It really does seem like university allows her to hide from the real world as does hiding away with Mummy and Daddy. I really don’t think she can cope with/is terrified of being an adult and all it brings from learning to drive, getting a real job or adult relationships - sexual or not

How many sections of garden do the Bones' have? The drone footage in her vlog showed me more parts that I had not noticed before.
---
And in that long white cotton gown she looks like she's escaped from a Victorian asylum.

And her standing in the dark outside in that nightgown in a ring of candles makes me think of some budget horror movie 🤭

Wait until you see her lying down on the ground in her white nightgown, playing the Victorian corpse! The neighbours must love this cracked woman in their midst.

Ahh just see the end of the video!! Standing in a circle of candles in her Victorian nightgown? The curtain twitchers next door must think she’s swinging from the nut tree! “Mavis! The lass has finally lost it”

I don't know why but it reminded me of that scene in Hereditary when that Paymon-worshipping lady shouts magical words to Peter.
---

What does Jane Austen have to do with any of this?
---

She is really going for that Emily Dickinson recluse look with the white nigthgown.
---
Is it just me, or are her fans a tad creepy?
Paradise lost was written in English, not Latin. That's what's so notable about it, an epic poem written in English as opposed to ancient greek or Latin. Never seen a Latin translation of it.

God some of her fans are thick.

She has so much free time on her hands she could do it herself!
