It was honestly cringe worthy that she did not notice that she said , "Mary Sidney Herbert is the brother of..." similarly to when she called Mary Queen of Scots, Elizabeth I's sister. I don't know how she would have noticed as she would have had to edit that video and at least rewatch it several times before it was posted and she should have at least noticed. I don't know if she was being lazy and just thought that the first attempt was good enough and just posted the content. She could have fixed it in a second and just remade the intro to that video but she was too lazy to do so or she honestly does not notice her own errors .
I think that I had more of a problem of the fact that this series might be Ruby posing as an academic with these 'educational,' videos now that her course is done and it allows her to keep on with the studytuber image. I can see her trying to be one of the academic content creators you get on tiktok, youtube, and other social media as it allows her to keep up her Ruby Granger image and to keep on 'studying,' since university is finished, providing that she doesn't do a PhD and she'll be praised by her young fans for being so smart

I’m all for a bit of fun, but the optics of two incredibly privileged grown women sat in their mansion playing around with mountains of mashed potatoes and beans just for a laugh are a bit grim tbh.
Must be nice to be able to waste food like that, don’t mind the 3+ million UK residents who currently rely on food banks to survive….
I'm sorry but even if they ate all that, two grown women playing with food like that is just gross. This is literal toddler behavior.
I used to find Marfa funny but damn she's as unsufferable as the rest of the family. Even the name of her tiktok account is on the line of a kid laughing as poopy pants, it was fine being the quickiest of the buunch and trying to be different than them but now at her age it's just too much.

As you say though, there’s absolutely no way that her and marfa sat down after sticking dirty lego figures in it and ploughed through about 15 potatoes worth of mash, 4 cans of beans and 12 turkey dinosaurs. I mean, Ruby supposedly doesn’t even eat meat anyway.

I just googled and apparently quorn do a vegan version so tbf, it could be them. Still find the waste of food terrible tho
I’ve always been aware of Ruby but found her too intolerable to even hate watch back in the day. Some of her writing content has popped up for me recently though and I’ve been watching some old vids and found this thread.
WTF is it with her and food? There seems to be a low level weirdness about it seeped through her content. Her veganism and forced workouts seem weirdly out of character and possibly orthorexic more than anything else - has that been discussed much? Or maybe it just seems a bit 2014 still… for somebody with such traditional sensibilities and obviously living rurally I’m surprised she’s not pushing the raw milk regenerative farming rhetoric and a high animal large diet like lots of influencers are atm. It would suit her preindustrial vibe. I came across that old morning routine vid where she was using a water jug and washbasin in her room wearing an effing bed jacket. Half expected her to pull out a bed pan of her own piss or a block of arsenic soap.
I’m calling it… in a few years we’ll see her hand churning butter and butchering a lamb
For the record I think it would be a major improvement health wise… the rice milk and bagel diet can’t be doing her any good. Or should I say mash and quorn dinosaurs

this just popped up in my recommended, remember how she used to stop procrastinating and get control of her screen time once and for all every six months or so at one point? much organised, very productivity!
