Ruby's back on her nonsensical performative poverty bullshit. She wasted £750+ on an iPad Pro and keyboard combo that she didn't need since she owns an iMac, a MacBook and an iPad, but tries desperately to convince everyone that she's VARRY PWOOR and this was a VARRY SOSSTAINABLE PARRCHASE because it was (GASP) SACKOND-HAAHHND.
I swear she had an iPad during her time in school. I know she bought a new one during her time at AXATAR which she had for years. Her latest video was so awkward when she went on and on about the iPad. Is this literally the first one she has ever owned? Sorry, but they are so common now that I fail to see the big deal about it. They have been around for ages. I can't believe she is planning to do a video to show what she has on hers. That is so passe. Does anyone even bother to do that now, especially someone her age? I don't even see young kids doing that anymore. iPads are just not a big deal, in spite of their price, and she didn't even get hers new. I can just see it failing her in the middle of her Masters, losing all her info. Refurbished ones can play some nasty tricks on you. The rest of the video was just ridiculous. A grown woman showing her "back to school" haul is just twisted.
Also, it's 2023. The teacher will post the key ideas on the class virtual blackboard.I can’t make it past 4 minutes of this new video. At the age of 23, she really needs to let go of her fixation on school. This video would have performed way better if she’d of said something about preparing for Oxford rather than “back to school”.
As normal, her suggestions and tips are all just busy work. Who has the time to sit down and write all of their “key ideas” after every class. Most students have classes back-to-back!
I always cringe so much to imagine one of her family members filming her as she does this.
What makes their kitchen even worse is that the glass ceiling retracts with a crank. These vacant-minded dunces often just leave it open even on rainy days, so their whole kitchen - floors, countertops, piano in the corner, everything - gets flooded with rainwater all the time. I don't know if that's how they think other people clean their kitchens, but I dread to think what that house smells like.View attachment 2360271
Ugh, that floorI'm assuming someone in her family, most likely her mother, is filming this and saw no problem with showing their house in this state. So up to some point, you can say that Rumbster is just used to living in filth and it's normal for her because she was brought up like that. But then... she grows up? she goes to other people's home? She sees other people's home in videos, movies, series etc?? Did she really never notice that nobody has wet, disgusting floor, and grimy countertops, moldy sinks, and smelly sheets????
I bet she won't even use it. I can see her turning up to seminars with parchment and a quill, because she will finally be atReally annoyed me that she was so in love with the new iPad and it became her favourite thing when she already has an iPad 9th gen which does exactly the same thing except doesn’t have the home button. And she also has a MacBook and an iMac.
Shock horror, I don't think this one is that bad. Strictly because you can see it is actively raining outside. A bit of water on the floor from coming in and out when it's raining isn't the end of the world. It happens to everyone, especially when you have dogs. In saying that, it's also why I personally invested in doormats.View attachment 2360271

Penultimate was the first person I thought of as one of Roob's weirdly obsessed fans from YouTube. The real creeps are weirdos like Penultimate on her comments section.
or Ruby herself; being a friendly ADULT pen pal to her tween subscribers
- First 60 seconds: she says zebra sarasa pens are her favorite and they write so nicely. NO! vintage colour series look nice, but they are terrible pens to actually write with. I bought them because of their assthetic and using them genuinely feels like I am carving the letters on a woodblock with a knife. I think this is a good metaphor for her fake and crass persona as well.
More OT pen talk -Oh my god thank you, yes! I've hated these pens after giving into the hype and buying them a few months ago. It's such an irritating feel and not smooth at all. My usual go-to pen is either a Muji 0.38 or a Pilot rollerball V5 so I just assumed it was not the right type of pen for me, but Sarasa attempt was an unexpected let down lol.
I found iPads are only really necessary for more science-based subjects, which include maths and diagrams which make it hard to type notes. For an English degree it is completely and utterly redundant for note-taking. It’s good for annotating PDFs but her old iPad *and* remarkable were both perfectly capable of that. It’s just consumeristic bs, just like when she got the iMac even though she could’ve achieved exactly the same setup with simply a monitor plugged into her MacBook.I bet she won't even use it. I can see her turning up to seminars with parchment and a quill, because she will finally be atHogwartsOxford.
I get that ipads are useful for making 'NYYOTESSS' but she has a macbook she could use, plus the other ipad, plus that Remarkable digital notepad thing that she shills as being excellent to write notes on and can transfer the files over. So what gap is the bigger ipad filling, exactly? She's going to need to plug them all in every night to charge.
Surely most students get by ok with a laptop and maybe an ipad for handwriting notes.
I think she only got the new-to-her ipad because of the video, was it sponsored?
