It's super common for private schools in the UK to hire non-qualified individual's as teachers. As long as her background checks/safeguarding training is complete, I wouldn't be surprised if she is left alone to teach a class.

Praying one of her students come to this forum and tell us all about it. Patiently waiting for her to upload a literary/teacher/bookish inspired outfit of the day

Also another undeclared punkin proooductivitee ad on TikTok.

Just to add on the whole teaching thing. She made that video about how schools are destroying our desire to learn because they follow a syllabus...does she not realise that's EXACTLY what she will have to do for her job. And she can't be giving her interpretation of the text because she has never had an original thought. So what is she actually going to be doing there. You can't talk about how aesthetic a poem is, you have to mention history, socioeconomic factors of the time, different critics and so much more. Everything she has ever talked about literature wise she was obsessed with because it fits a dark macadamia victorian aesthetic.

Edit: When I was in secondary school, finding my teachers Facebook and lurking through them with my friends was a fun past time. I can't imagine Ruby's students finding her cringe tiktoks and videos... yikes

Part of the problem is that she doesn't see why they are cringey. As an adult she did a rewatch of one of her earliest toecurling Hermione impersonation videos and she was embarrassed because of the bad lighting!

Also if I were bullied quite often at my old school (which Ruby claims to have been) it wouldn't exactly be my first choice for a teaching job. Nevermind that it's probably the only place that would hire her with no questions asked since it's her old private school. It's a lot harder to fly under the radar when you're literally the teacher and I guarantee there's going to be at least one girl there smarter than her.

I agree with this, especially if they’re paying her. Private schools are businesses, and they’re not going to want to pay money to an adult who can’t be left alone with a class. If it was work experience or an unpaid internship that would be different, but that doesn’t seem to be how Ruby is describing it. I’d expect her to be shadowing an experienced teacher for the first couple of weeks or so, but after that they’ll want her to pull her weight.

Perhaps she wants to go back there in a position of authority so she can feel some sort of control over what happened in the past?
Like when people who get bullied at school join the police just they can go on mad power trips and harass teenagers and homeless people just for existing in public places lol.
Maybe I’m deeping it a bit lol.

I can see the headline in a local newspaper: Victorian ghost child hunts children in private school

I am wondering a) how easy it is to find this forum - if it pops up right after googling Ruby's name, then chances are someone will at least read what we're chatting about here? b) if there's a chance Ruby finds a new favorite fake aesthetic concerning teaching which she obsesses so much about that she keeps teaching despite hating it. There's so much she's able to force herself to do if only it results in some nice aesthetic.

I don't think that's too far-fetched. In some cases where you see a former unpopular young woman become a teacher, I just can't help but think it has to do something with power dynamics. They want to work in an environment where they are finally authorities and role models, especially to young girls so they can have what they didn't get when they were teens.

Yeah she also says that Erimentha is a bit embarrassing to her now, but I bet she's talking about the juvanile writing style and not the pathological content loool

I suspect we've already seen her "MOIY FARRST WAAHK INN-SOMBLER":

She's reined in her MISPA TEENAH child dress-up habit, but showing up with fake freckles, getting dropped off by mummy and carrying a DARK MACADEMIA attaché case because she's an ADOLT NAOW certainly is a choice.

Certainly looks like leather, too. SYO VEGAN!

At least she’s dressed appropriately for work and not in the velvet shorts, or God forbid, the ring master get up 💀

Is she actually going to keep on doing the fake freckles as a teacher? A lot of this is going to be her playing dress up and acting or inspiring to be like Miss Honey or any other teachers that inspire the children, be that teacher that gets Christmas cards from students and be besties with them. It's good she's actually got a job and getting out of her bedroom but it feels so blizzare to me.

I still cant get over the fact that her and her parents think its a good idea to let her teach. Literally weeks ago she had a panic attack from meeting friends. Putting her in front of a classroom is just setting her up for failure. Her mental health problems are gonna increase heavily and I guess shes just gonna go away with the conviction that "traditional jobs" are just terrible for mental health etc...
There would have been so many jobs suitable for Ruby for a gentle start (especially since she isnt really dependent on the money) to ease her into work environments while working on her problems. But teaching fits into her weird fantasy she built of herself, so why question if its even remotly suitable for someone with severe social anxity / phobia...

Its just so sad to see how she is a privileged person with multiple resources (time, money, family etc.) which would make it easy for her to work on her mental health, but she and her parents are just completly ignoring any problems she has.
A friend of mine has been diagnosed with social phobia and depression at the beginning of last year, she has to run her own household, work fultime, has absolutly no support from her parents etc. while struggling with her mental health. But shes making it a point to have therapy and work on the issues, and in the last year alone she improved a LOT with help. Like if she can do it, Ruby can do it 100x easier.
But what is Ruby doing? F*** all together with romanticising her problems...

lol I can’t 😂 in her new video, she shows a ”makeup routine” that starts with full-on fake freckles, presumably to try and convince us that they’re real 😂

also wtf is this “collar”, I’m guessing this is something she made herself by unevenly freehand cutting a piece of fabric and just thinking that was good enough? Newsflash Roogedy Ann, it’s not and you’re looking sloppy.
