Well, she marked the Gen Z book as read on Jan 16th and the talk was on Jan 25th so she had at least 9 days to prepare. I wouldn't call it a last minute booking.I wonder if she did any preparation for this event or not. I'd suspect not, since her performance is little more than a live-action version of the same meaningless monologues in her videos. If she did prepare, and this is what she came up with, that's kinda worse TBH. One way or the other, this was just a catastrophic fail.
Can the people who posted it see that it got views and was reposted on Tattle (sorry I am technically illiterate!)?I hope the video is re-uploaded soon!
I want to say you can see in YouTube's analytics which sites are linking to your video (or at least that used to be the case) but I don't think it's a full URL link, just the overall website. So whoever runs the college YouTube channels could see that they were getting traffic from Tattle.life, but that's about it. It wouldn't take much detective work to find out from there which page the video was embedded on, though, given the lone influencer on the panel. Can the people who posted it see that it got views and was reposted on Tattle (sorry I am technically illiterate!)?
Just wondered if it got taken down because it got criticism on here!
Yeah the overlapping audio was kinda brutal. At first I thought it was the Panel members trying to stop Ruby talking lolI doubt they'd check or care though, I think it's more than likely the sound issues since the whole thing was pretty much unwatchable aside from the first couple of minutes due to the overlapping audio.
Also why not choose someone who finished their Philosophy/Theology degree instead?i wonder why she's introduced as youtuber and entrepeneur, and not by her academic achievements like the other participants
most of them were related to religion and theology studies, so i guess they choose her because she took one year of philosophy and theology and despite she never finished that undergraduate, they thought she would fit in -which she didn't-, but her education is never mentioned in the panel unlike the other members
also most of them seem to be related to king's college london somehow, why did they choose ruby then? it's just very weird
Yeah, KGL announced the line-up as early as Jan 10th, too.I doubt she was a very last-minute addition to the panel as she got the book in the autumn, she showed it in her ”Gilmore inspired” vlog. Maybe this is just another desperate attempt at rebranding - Sixteenth are trying like hell to get some kind of progress happening before she stagnates beyond repair.
‘I love sealing my letters like a kidnapper sending a ransom note’.”I love sealing my letters like this” Like what? By making an unholy mess of a candle (NB not a ”candlestick”!) in the last two minutes of its sad, sad life on your windowsill, together with all the wasted potential of several unlit matches that never got to go out in a literal blaze of glory but are instead being forced to eke out an indeterminate shadow of an existence in ignominy, before you finally manage to clean up your desk, perhaps on the day of your biennial sheets-changing?

It's the Jack Edwards book-hoarding ploy: She doesn't actually read books, but wants to be seen as a bookworm, so she can't stop buying them because she needs to use them as props for her videos to include lots of shots of her flicking through them randomly to "prove" she reads 5,496 books a week. So, this week Ruby has brought 4 books and took 3 out of the Library I mean I'm sure I remember her saying that she wasn't going to buy as many books but she is still buying books or borrowing them from the library when she probably doesn't even need them.
