Why would anyone lea.... Oh, look. Goo's on!
<CLICK>

The highlighted part above is one of his many problems. Josh acts entitled. There is nothing about what he does these days that indicates spending time on his channel is worthy of anyone's time, yet he's trying to guilt followers into staying. News flash - that type of wording and behavior usually has the opposite effect on folk.

As he's done many times before, he's blaming his viewers for his low views. It’s kind of like stepping on a rake repeatedly and blaming the rake.
If only he would the all the effort that Goo puts into his stream. Instead of the News Flash or supid big arrows he add on his thumbnail. Give the viewers something new. Goo always search to do something that keeps him away from the routines every streamers has.

What’s new that Josh did? Riding boats instead of the people mover??? He’s doing the same type of stream everytime, no wonder why your viewers are going down

He decided to wait for the Buzz ride. Still soft open. Sign said 35 minutes...saw Ron in line ahead of him. Ralph didn't realize that it'd soft opened.
Like he didnt know! He sure lurk into other streamers… give me a brake, if people believe that bull they better stay with him and dont go anywhere else. They’ll be too amazed and shocked about what greatness they missed from elsewhere

It wouldn't take much research for Josh to realise he has to do something different. It's not rocket science, its not hard to do.

I know a few streamers use a "wheel" to determine what to do each stream, but even if he started copying that idea, it would be a 100% improvement on what he's doing at the moment - which is nothing.

Last week on a short streaming day, Tonya's wheel (all suggestions by viewers, not options she chose because each suggestion had a viewers name) took her to the Circle D ranch. I loved seeing the horses! She went on a bus to the large shop at the campground nearby, then came back to watch the horses being groomed and washed. It was a really nice relaxing afternoon stream, the last person I saw at the ranch was LBTV and that was years ago.

I love Goo's pin trading streams especially the one where he and Matt compete to see who ends up with the best pin board at the end. I can't believe all the places where there are pin boards. I enjoy the journey and also the company.

For Josh if the company can't be good, then he needs to improve the journey.

I would recommend he releases his control on a stream one day, and let the viewers dictate what happens. Loosen up fella!

Also, if Goo and Tonya can stream in the parks and THEN do a special Patreon stream (even from home would be OK, Tonya had bingo last week apparently) then come on Josh or Jenna, do you can it to. Who the hell is paying for nothing from ResortTV?

Even the most stoic of their fans is eventually (hopefully) going to get fed up with all the "woe is me" when they are literally doing nothing to improve things.

These could work for Jenna if she wern't so lazy, but Josh can't do most of that - releasing control is not in his nature. Unpredictability stresses him out.
Copying Tonya & Janel is never a good idea. Even if he were able to make a spinning wheel of his own, we all know Josh's creativity is rock bottom. It would contain only what he wants on it - duplicates of the Peoplemover, and he'd look at wait times of other rides it might land on and opt out anyway for most.

Josh was never meant to be a success in livestreaming - he makes it about himself and has no idea how to frame a story. He just hit it at the right moment, which gave him that boost others wish they had.

:ROFLMAO:

You beat me to it.

I know realistically it is never going to happen, but Josh needs to realise that what is really limiting his channel is not the subject, the time of year, the competitors etc but his personality and also Jenna's.

I do think Jenna could do a genuinely fun stream, but like Josh complacency is a key issue and knowing that some moppers will follow you know matter how little you give them in return, so why do more than is needed?

Watching other streamers recently, I think I forget just how much there is to explore in the entire footprint that is WDW. I still keep seeing things I've ever never seen or see infrequently. It's criminal how much Josh has around him he could use to really give the viewers an experience and how it's just the same old, same old.

Also (and I'm sorry to keep mentioning Tonya as an example but recent her stream times and my free times have been colliding) on her Friday stream she specifically went out of her way to get some change from one of the hotels as she made her way into Magic Kingdom. She forgot to bring cash, got some out from the ATM and swapped them for some dimes.

While she was waiting for the afternoon parade she asked people in the chat for any wishes they had. Obviously there were a lot of health wishes, new job, world peace, passing tests etc etc and she was reading them all out and commenting about them. Then she made her way to the wishing well, threw in the pile of dimes (the money collected goes to charity) and said that this was for all the viewers who were making a wish.

I'm a bit of a miserable sod about things like this at the best of times, but I thought it was a nice idea (I'm not sure if Janel does his as well), and was another example of a streamer engaging with their viewers that didn't feel forced, icky or false. She had also not had a great morning herself, and then the stream ran into major issues and had to be restarted, so I would say it took a little while for her to be her usual self, but she still did this anyway.

And once again, my overwhelming thought was "can you imagine ever, in a million years, not even for a million subscribers would Josh think of or do something like this".

Because despite all the thanks he gives at the end of every stream, deep down he thinks he deserves the Mods hard work and deserves the viewers and likes and subscribers and that it's his right as THE Disney lives streamer that he has all of these things automatically.

And that is why his channel is doing whatever the hell he thinks it's doing in terms of view, subscribers, money etc.

Sorry, don't know what happened to the last part of the last paragraph, but I meant to say -

And that is why his channel is doing whatever the hell he thinks it's doing in terms of view, subscribers, money etc because people can turn to other streamers who are more genuine, more fun and don't carry around such entitlement.

From his rant last night, it's clear that Josh resents the streamers who are able to stream every day. However, he also said he wouldn't stream every day even in retirement. He wants to exist as he always has and make the same amount of money without the extra effort. Josh lucked into his top Disney streamer title simply by being one of the first. I can turn YouTube on right now and find a live stream by a person who is willing to do more than Josh. Josh wants it to be "The Josh Show". Who cares what the people actually want to see?

It always struck me as odd that for a man who says he has his degree in the arts he's so out of touch with the experience.

Josh has misinterpreted youtube as steady income. It's entertainment, nothing more, and as such your popularity and paycheck will be tied to the whims of the audience. To keep your audience you have to move with them. Josh's feet are planted firmly in 4K mud. He entered his been-there, seen-that phase about 2000 peoplemover rides back. Pile on all his griping, whining, obsession over stats and signals and you have a miserable experience people don't really want to pull up yet again.

His $50 pay-level for a proper thank you to those who chose to support him via paypal or superchat has alienated those with smaller budgets too - $50 is a good chunk out of a grocery trip, or half of a utility bill. Meanwhile he cries poverty and woe is me at every turn while enjoying a lifestyle many of his viewers don't even have: a house, 2 good cars, a landscaper to mow for him, enter the Disney parks whenever he likes, $10 cookie & coke every night.

It's sickening.... and he blames not himself, but the viewers for his channel's demise.
Joke's on him though, by stating "the channel is dying" out loud the way he did, it's like a restaurant saying "we're going under". Does it make a person want to stay for dessert, or does it make one seek out better options? Usually the latter and they're much happier they did find other creators to watch.

A Plopper, I mean Hopper gave Jenna some merch from Tokyo Disney so of course Jenna wants to go. You know, go to Japan with a job that has you going to the parks part-time and the other time drinking margaritas. Amazing how do I sign up for that.

I found an employment opportunity for Jenna, if she needs Tokyo Disney $$:

Oops - wrong Orange County. And I don't know which production company or network is behind this show, but if it's Bravo or Peacock, I've seen some of their shows, and I don't think they're interested in Real Housewives who look like this:

Can you imagine Jenna in Tokyo? That would be quite the vlog, for sure. She gets annoyed by crowds in her own country, but by all means, hop on the next plane to Tokyo for some childish merch!

Jenna doesn’t strike me (or possibly anyone else) as the cultured world traveler type. I can see her putting on those same jean shorts she always wears and traveling to a few trailer parks to show whatever activities they may have.
That’s more on her culture level and it fits her look.
(No disrespect to anyone who lives in a mobile home community but when I see Jenna I think of the worst of these communities).

She’s too stupid to embrace an entirely different culture, their activities, the sights and as someone said, their food.
This embarrassing adult child needs to keep her crocs firmly planted in Florida.
