What was that show?
Certainly the people sitting there, trying to understand, looked mortified.
Appears to be a dating show on Comedy Central, also with Katherine Ryan, loads more of it here. See the playlist on the right of the youtube page, loads of it.

I genuinely don't know what she's saying 😬

Edit to add:

If they insist on having her present then maybe they should include subtitles by default. Because surely viewers aren't going to stay tuned in if they can't understand what she's even saying?
she’s also not funny imo, even when I have managed to understand some of what she’s saying. (Couldn’t understand anything in that clip though)

Is that a new game show or something?
I couldn't understand her either - I'd really need subtitles. I could understand her on Taskmaster though.
Obviously it's not her fault she's an odd choice to present something when her diction is so unclear.
She's a tick box dream that's why she's everywhere

And those tick box criteria are her only MO, and it’s not funny. “Oh I’m a disabled les aren’t I hilarious.”

It's sad though because the powers that be are actually failing her by giving her jobs her disability literally can't cope with.

She could refuse the offers and stick to acting which she appears to be a good fit for.

Only this bonkers timeline that would make the offers in the first place. Like when Channel 4 did a stunt with alternative voice reading the continuity annoucements and there was a lady with tourettes. Or when Alison Hammond took the For The Love Of Dogs job when she's scared of dogs.

The point of broadcasting is supposed to be good communication but people have lost the plot somewhere along the way 🙄

I don’t find her funny either. I hate to be brutally honest, but comedy is all about timing and she just can’t do it. Plus the most successful comedians are those who can laugh at themselves and be the butt of their own jokes and she takes herself far to seriously to ever do that.

I think that’s the fundamental issue with her, comedy is about timing and quickness so if you have someone who takes an ice age to say the punchline then you immediately lose the joke, however good it might be. I don’t think saying that is being mean it’s a fact, much like putting me in as a prima ballerina in the Royal Ballet would be a car crash to watch.
Personally I can’t watch her and especially her equally unfunny mate Nish and will turn over if either are on. Thats the nice thing about comedy is there is something for everyone, and she’s not for me

Even without the timing issue, her jokes just aren't funny. She wouldn't have got anywhere if she wasn't diverse imo as she's just not a goof comedian

There’s not being funny and there’s not being funny AND telling people what they can and can’t joke about

Any criticism of the chronically unfunny Rosie Jones is labelled as "ableism" when actually no, she's just tit. She doesn't have the skills or thick skin required to be a comedian. I really like Francesca Martinez who also has cerebral palsy, she's very funny and takes the piss out of herself. So it's not that Rosie isn't funny because of her disability, she's just not funny full stop.

The problem is also that once they hire someone they put them on every show going until we get fed up. That goes for all prominent presenters and comedians.
Yes Russel bleeping Howard was everywhere for ages

It's the way now inclusion has ruined everything inclusion has now made mentally ill men think they can violate women's spaces it's absolutely bleeping mental the inclusion army. If you aren't talented it shouldn't matter who you are or what colour sex whatever

I've just watched a clip of Francesca, who I have never seen before, and she's definitely better than Rosie as her jokes are funnier. But I'll be honest, the only comedians that regularly make me laugh when I watch clips, are Sean Lock (RIP) Lee Mack and Ricky Gervais because they are quick witted, quick delivering comedians who don't take themselves too seriously and don't lecture you. Jimmy Carr can be funny sometimes but his laugh and personality grate on me too much.

Edit to add: And when it comes to comic TV writing, noone has made me wheeze with laughter as much as Graham Linehan even though he's the type that everyone says you're not supposed to find funny. But again, it's the wit and timing and the not taking the subject matter too seriously.

In a world that has David Walliams, Russell Brand, Michael McIntyre, James Corden, how is Lee Mack a gigantic bleep? He barely even registers on the scale of cuntery.

Lost Voice Guy uses his disability brilliantly and it makes his act unique.
Rosie just tells poor jokes incredibly slowly so you're left listening for ten minutes, waiting for a punchline that was telegraphed in the first line.
