It only occurs whenever something does not go her way and she needs people to A) be on her side and B) be against Louise.

If Rosie did not have have an audience, she would not have these self-inflicted injuries; they are for show.

Self-harm as a manipulation tactic is found in people with various personality disorders (Narcissistic, Antisocial, Borderline) and is used as a means of controlling other people. It's akin to someone saying their to partner "If you leave me, I will kill myself." It's physically abusing themselves in order to emotionally abuse and control someone else.

This is why she proudly parades these scratches she's carved into herself. She wants you to see, be (rightly) horrified then feel sorry for her. Then feel angry at whomever she blames for causing it.

She really thinks she's the smartest person in the room at all times. I'd love to see her sit down with an actual Psychiatrist and try her shit. She wouldn't last 5 minutes.

What a shit show. I haven’t ever self harmed, but worked with a lot of young people who did, really quite severely in some cases. I’ve never seen anything like what Bush is doing. SH is a secret coping mechanism, an act that helps achieve emotional release but often followed quickly by guilt and shame. Not pride, not showcasing…that’s like she’s trying to punish Louise, not herself. Being able to accept and show the scars and wounds is a massive step in recovery I’ve found, showcasing fresh wounds is just fucked up.

I know everyone is different and I’m not invalidating feelings and experiences, especially when people are at their lowest. I just can’t grasp this as being a cry for help. I also don’t see it as a coping mechanism she just stumbled upon at her big age, it’s so contrived. Pull yourself together Bush FFS.
