I am an absolute sucker for a castle, but this one has got my spidey senses tingling. Why only 4 photos and none of the interiors? It's on with Savills, they would absolutely not have put up a few pictures as a placeholder, they're a top-end agency.

Found this, which is very interesting reading:

If I had the money , and another million to spend on it / run it , I'd have it gladly .
I think you would have to sell off a bit of the periphery for housing , in order to put money away to insure it/ pay its running costs into the future but you could always do holiday let's to cover it's yearly costs too

I think you'd need atleast 5 million to do both properties justice, possibly more.

Now this is a beauty, and considering the gorgeous location, I think it's a steal at that price (a mere million quid).

Oh this is right up my street. So elegant and all the period features intact.

Now that is old money.

Someone will get lucky.

Half a million for a B&M grey squished (Jack Monroe-esque) bungalow in County Durham - the only colour is in the bathroom where, according to my husband, you'd feel like you were inside a colon whilst shitting. Lovely. I'll find a nice one to balance the greyness of this.

I don’t particularly like it. It is bland, with no character. But if you just wanted to move straight in and not have to do any work, it is perfect. Nice view of the sea also.
