Longtime lurker. Looove this thread. And love rightmove. I live in the midlands and would love to live by the coast. Do you think there is a coastal town that isn’t packed with tourists in the summer?

It’s gorgeous but this is Doc Martins house in the series of the same name, so definitely crawling with tourists unfortunately.

Another 'tasteful' overpriced house that I'm a sucker for, especially the private terraces in this case. I had to laugh when I looked at the street view, though 😄

That house is so tasteful and bland it's actually painless. I get it's dressed for sale but it's just washed out plaster nothing.

Ah what a lovely house, how nice to see a celeb's home that isn't a sterile grey box. Can see why Paul loved living there. I wonder if the memories were too painful for his husband to keep living there? Or maybe it felt too big for him on his own/ the running costs are too high? It's very sad whatever the situation.

It is gorgeous, as are the cottages that come with it, but quite a lot to look after.
