Just come across this thread. I love it! Love looking at houses on right move. I look at some and think 3 million that’s so cheap for that, all while I have £1.25 in my savings account and in my overdraft on my current account 🙃😂

I like this a lot but the price! Also think I'd be second guessing the glass floor upstairs like a nervous dog

How on earth did they get that rope 'bannister' past building regs?? I lived in Cambridge in the mid-90s, loved it, but dear Gods, I wish I'd been a bit more sensible and bought a house there then!!

It all irritates me somehow ... it’s trying so hard to be tasteful and perfect. Great chain bannister, so practical!

So weird, a “cosy” bedroom space with curtains disguising the probably concrete walls, but no other facilities like a kitchen, bathroom or even toilet?

There was one of these that was done up recently on an episode of George Clarkes Amazing Spaces. I don't think this is the same one as the interior fittings are different (it had bunks and was set up for his kids to enjoy) but it shows you can make some money back on them!

Tiny and expensive but I love the outside. I imagine this place was probably a bit of a tip 50 or more years ago but anyway it's near Beigel Bake which is the important thing.
