It says it’s on the outskirts of Wootton village - isn’t that in Oxford. Google maps says an hours drive 😂
I'm not a fan of Oxford itself but the area around Blenheim Palace has some lovely villages, I think I went to Woodstock which is a bit South of Wootton

I don't think they do a cash option in the UK, which is why so many of the Omaze houses go on the market very quickly after they are won, because the winner doesn't want the house.
Ah, they may have changed that then - I think it was an option with the first UK one, but they've done a few since.

Ah I could live here in a heartbeat, but is it £3 million nice? Maybe for the bathroom?

You're basically paying for the views aren't you? I would want to change a lot of the decor Nd kitchen and the shape of some of the rooms might be difficult tonfurnish I think

The concrete finish in this is giving me prison cell/ secure facility vibes.

I kind of admire their commitment to that (horrible) aesthetic but still, almost 900k to live in a grey box on a dual carriageway right by a roundabout?!(and the local Selco) 🤦‍♀️

I didn't love it either.

Someone posted the 2bed mushroom cottage that was a part of an estate for £350,000 in London. It came up again in my search, but this time I noticed that it also included £12,500+ in ground rent on top.

It's not that special.

I saved this one because I liked the way they decorated.

Absolutely stunning. DH & I had a flat in Ramsgate a million years ago. We moved back to Ireland to start a family umpteen years ago but pics of houses like this make me misty eyes for our UK living youth.

But does the article say the relative lived there? Pictures suggest absent owner and the property used to host illegal raves or something.

Yes lots of middle class in the bigger houses but also lots of scary people esp near the Green. I would not want to sleep on the ground floor - even with bars on the window!
I lived there for a year near the Green haha. Often miss it tbh! Proper gritty London! And such good transport links. I never had any bother personally.

There's an insta home account just announced they are selling their house. It's a big victorian 3 or 4 story , possibly a terrace with a large garden in the Tyne valley. If anyone comes across a listing for it , can they post it on here please.
