No doubt she will be #gifted super expensive baby equipment also...and not fully disclose it as always

She’s also frequently hinted that Z doesn’t always conform to her nap schedule and she has to go back to her sleep consultant for help, which is mad to me as all babies go through phases due to leaps, illness, teething, because they want to ;) which makes her post all the more weird as it’s really dishonest. And creepily over positive
I think she’s an anxious parent and projects a lot to reassure herself but it does come across strange

I really hope all this baking content is pre filmed but I don’t think it is. And I get if you are self employed maternity leave isn’t a thing, and you need to be conscious financially but surely she doesn’t need to be doing AD content already?

I don’t know why this bothers me so much, but she just needs to take a break. Even just a month off before getting back to work, why does she need to do this immediately after giving birth? I’m not being made to feel inadequate from all her posts as they just make me cross, but there must be new mums out there seeing her perfect life, baking and cooking with seemingly no support and it must be making them feel bad
..she wants you to think her life is perfect. If it was then there wouldn’t be a constant meed to show off on social media like it’s oxygen.

I'm usually all for freedom of choice and feeding baby anywhere, anytime he/she has a need. However am I alone in finding it really distasteful to video oneself breast feeding?
You're not alone - my boy is 11 weeks and I'm breastfeeding him after a rough start. There have been a few times where I've fed him in public and I confess I thought I would be more shy about the whole thing. But there's a big difference between feeding your child in public when they need it and whipping out a camera to film the event. There's something about the way some influencers show off when breastfeeding that comes across as extremely smug and attention-seeking. Would she have filmed the same scenario if her boy was bottle-fed? Doubt it.

Yes, absolutely, when she had that mini meltdown the other week because he was putting his head on the table while he was eating and she didn’t know why and then when he put food in his drink and she was horrified it was all because she needed to know why he was doing it. The reason was simple, cos he’s a toddler and he can, they do all kinds of weird stuff.

Most of her birth problems seem to stem from the fact that her body was doing what it wanted to, not what she had decided it should do and because the midwives knew better than her and told her why things had to be a certain way. So far out of her comfort zone and she couldn’t deal with it then and still can’t now.

For an intelligent woman she is struggling to understand the concept that Z is a little human and therefore does different things each day. Sometimes he wants a lot of sleep, sometimes he doesn’t, it doesn’t need to be a leap, a regression, need a sleep solution, it’s just called being alive, not everything is a problem!
Imagine when he becomes a teenager!!!!

There was one that is rather fitting by @Farmer Sam . I don’t know how to quote it fancily so here it is pasted:

New thread title suggestion… “Rhi could do with a huge cake; so many ads now, such a fake”
Thank you! I don’t however know how to start a new thread?! Anyone help?!

I forgot to type half of the last post - 🤣 - thanks for saying you liked it I meant to say, anyone else got suggestions for the lovely Rhi - I’ve just been reading her DULL travel tips - honestly you’d think no one had been on a plane with a child before. Love the way she said the people in the seats behind on the tantrum riddled flight home moved, with a vague hint of hatred in her text. Hey - if there were free seats and they wanted to move let them! It isn’t a personal insult to your child, they probably just wanted to nap or read!

For someone who doesn’t want to show what she eats in a day she sure is showing a lot of what she is eating! Lots of cake lately to show everyone that she definitely eats cake (not that she ever actually eats it just shows it to the camera!)
Yep I definitely see a weaning book on the horizon! She will become a specialist in children’s nutrition probably.

I just can’t understand her husband being on board with this! He obviously wants to be private and I can’t see why he wouldn’t want the same for his son. It’s bad enough that he is plastered all over her social media but now she is filming ads with him too!

I have a lot of respect for her sharing her story and the trauma she may have experienced. My own labour was quite ‘textbook’ and even so there are still aspects I dwell on a few weeks later. So none of my thoughts on this are about putting that aspect down, she clearly went through a tough time that she needs to recover from.

My issue remains this weird perfect vision of her life she is trying to convey with all the baking and relentless positivity on her stories. Maybe she is baking in the early hours - but I bet she’s living off toast between feeds, or really her partner is doing all the cooking so she can focus on the baby. Not saying she needs to make motherhood look negative but a bit of balance might not come across so much like showing off?

I just went on her blog to have a look - it hasn’t been posted yet. I read her article on soy foods - her writing is terrible. She doesn’t explain herself at all well and a lot of it reads as if it’s been copied verbatim from a text book.

I can’t quite get my head round her success. She seems to employ quite a big team for her nutrition clinic, yet she’s not a great communicator or public speaker (I think her TED talk is pretty poor and charisma-free too).

I’ve just listened to her birth story I’m quite shocked at her lack of education around giving birth!

There’s a lot important stuff I can remember my Community midwife telling me about on several occasions, and from antenatal classes that I’m very suprised she didn’t know!

it certainly seems like she has had an idea of a perfect home birth in her head, and didn’t anticipate that it might not be like that, or even research hospital births at all.

I like Rhiannon but I think thats terrifying and quite naive I’m glad she’s doing a podcast about it. I hope it makes more people who don’t want to have hospital births at least research procedures and possibilities.

Exactly! ‘Look I’m so fun I sing songs and tickle my child and I’m definitely not uptight about his schedule and that he didn’t nap earlier!’

She doesn't look the picture of health at the minute. She looks pinched and frail. Not exactly what you want from a nutritionist, I'd guess?

I always find it a bit strange that her husband is not on social media yet he is happy for her to put his child all over social media and basically be used as a tool to increase engagement with her page and therefore her brand and business. It’s not even just a few pictures of him, she constantly puts him on her stories even if she is just talking about her podcast so there’s no need to show him for that.

When literally the whole of social media is muting their Instagram to share resources and stories of racism, she manages to make it about herself. She just doesn’t get it. She is part of the problem.
FFS! I can’t even. Self obsessed little mare.

Also, how long did she take positioning her fake tits to get that shot!?

I cannot get over how unprofessional this woman is. She works for a nutrition clinic that ultimately deals with eating disorder patients which would mean a majority of her followers are also in this category? yet she is SO thin and malnourished (I am a dietician) and constantly posts videos of her working out in a sports bra and skin tight leggings. Its so triggering for her followers. It shows she doesn't care about them she just cares about her image. We don't need to see her working out anyway, its a nutritional page not a workout page. Stay in your lane Rhiannnon before you lose respect!
If you were a dietitian you would know how to spell it right
