Great thread, I'm trying to sit on my hands but I do want karma to get one person. She was a supposed " friend" she is very manipulative and a pathological liar to boot. But we had kids same age and became what I thought was mates. She made belittling remarks but in a way I'd look like a snowflake if I got offended. She copied my hobbies, but had to be better at them,encroached on any friendships and so on. She hated if my kids recieved an accolade hers didn't at school and had never ending medical issues that seemed to be forgottenand on to the next. Anyways she moved alot closer to my best friend of 12 years ( we'd never rowed ever) which meant her kids moved schools to my best friends kids school. I noticed they started becoming friendly, now at this time I was clinically depressed and in a pretty bad way. I never said anything because it was not my place to say who could and could not be mates. But in time I started trusting my bff less, confiding less. She'd mention going to the other girls for coffee and her kids even stayed at hers overnight....it was clear her intention was to break ourfriendhip up. So then it got back to me that the pair of them had been discussing my husband that he was violent! I was seething ( still am) hes my true best friend and a godsend. So I rang my best friend who came up and it was apparently the other girl who had said she'd heard it blah blah...but she also defended her. So that was that after all those years. I can't souly blame the girl as my best friend made a choice. But I know she's more than capable of being dangerous etc...anyways its hurt me for 2 years still. Because I was in such a dark place and now they apparently exchange likes on sm but as far as I know that's it. And still she doesn't seem to see she was used to hurt me?! Hope this makes sense? But I do really hope karma bites their arses! I miss my bf but I would never reconcile despite my husband saying if I miss her I should...sorry for the essay!
You know what, I think we've all been there with a friend. You tend to miss the company and not really the person. Its nice to have someone youre comfy with and you get to an age where you're like "can I be bothered to try start a friendship all the way from the start again?!" I'm 26 and I really have no time for that at the moment. I know I should but I'm just done with people's BS! lol
I can't think of much revenge stories I have at the minute besides one when I was was in highschool. A girl I was friends with who had never came round my house started saying my home was dirty and my mum was abusive to me? I don't know why she did this or where it came from?!!! But she was obsessed with boys from Korea. she was into k-pop before it was even a popular thing here.
She was a fairly heavy girl and used to edit all her pics to high heavens.. However she would sit there and criticise other girls over every little thing, especially weight. Ironic much?! So anyways she would be in a lot of groups online for Koreans and Korean music and dance and she used to date a lot of the boys over Facebook and would Skype them but in the dark or at really weird angles with lots of make up to change her face and extensions in her hair and what not. She got really serious with one of the lads and she wanted to go study in a uni near him and she was gonna lose weight to look like her cat fishing pics so she could make the relationship real but I took pics of her at school, not flattering ones either mind you, and sent them to him. He confronted her. Told her he didn't like how she looked and that she was a liar and desperate and then that was the last of him. She was devestated. I did feel bad tbh but she was an absolute cow. How she talked about my home was filthy and I was fed up of how she would comment on everyone else and always talk behind my back.
i've got one from many years ago that still gives me satisfaction to this day, I was 19 or 20 and was in the phase of every friday and saturday pub crawling and nightclubbing with my pals, there were 6 or 7 of us and I come from a small town so it was a case of same faces, same places each week, another group of girls took a dislike to us, one in particular was vile, she would try to trip us up in the crowd as we passed or shove us off the dancefloor and even give our hair a firm pull as we passed, real nasty cow.
A few of us told her to piss off and called her out but she always said ooops it was an accident and how sorry she was with a sweet smile on her face.
One night in one of the pubs she walked past us and touched her cigarette on my friends arm very briefly but enough for my friend to yelp and have a hole on her sleeve, the mean girl just chuckled and kept walking so I shouted after her how out of order it was and that she was a witch, we got to the next pub and it had a balcony above the main bar, as I was getting a drink the cheeky witch poured a big drink right over me from the balcony and she'd even got a cider and blackcurrant for maximum stain power, I was livid as had to go home which was a taxi ride away and not worth getting showered, changed and paying to get back again so I missed my night out with my pals, she just laughed and said ooops sorry.
We avoided her as much as possible after that bar a few heated name calling exchanges and middle finger flips from across the dance floor but I was still livid about what she'd done. I worked in a bridal boutique at the time and months prior she'd been in for a fitting on her bridesmaid dress, thankfully I wasn't dealing with them for that but saw her and her name on the order folder, anyway the dresses (hers included) were due to be picked up for the wedding so I got out the trusty sewing machine and took it in about an inch either side of the bodice on her dress, not enough to make it unwearable but just to make her uncomfy, I put it back in the dress cover and chuckled to myself thinking how she might be moaning all day.
On the morning of the wedding we got a frantic call from her mum asking if we could alter her dress at all as she had "got too big for it" her and her mum came in about half an hour later, she was bright red and squirming as I stood there while my boss got her to try on the dress, it still fit but it was tighter than tight, her mum was telling her off saying she needed to stop all the nights out as they were doing her no good and how could she do this so last minute, of course the dress was let out and all was fine but she never once bothered us after that and even now when I see her in Tesco where she works I have a little chuckle at how a few stitches tamed a witch.
