Rest in Peace #4

Yeah, it happened last March, but he didn't reveal it until April. From what was said, he unsurprisingly wasn't taking it well, and his two kids were having to look after him.
Indeed. At the time he posted what seemed like a "goodbye" tweet, and unsurprisingly everyone expressed worry about it. This resulted in his kids taking over his account and reassuring everyone he was still with us and that they were with him. So sad.

Linda Nolan has passed.
Such a shame to hear. From what she was saying in interviews, I think she knew she didn't have long left and was hoping for one last xmas which she managed to get.

The actress Diane Langton has passed away. I loved her in Hollyoaks and her episodes of Only Fools are my favourites

She was one of those people who, if you grew up in the 70s/80s, you knew because of all the things she had been in. Sad to hear she has passed.

Paul Danan is sad news, ex Hollyoaks actor too.
He had been due in court this week after being found in possession of a tit load of coke and possibly driving offences.
His early appearance in love island was good and I enjoyed the programme he did with Callum Best too.
He did always have lots going on in his life.

I’m really sad to hear about Paul Danan. This is the first death where I’ve felt I want to come and comment on it here and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the addict in me but it just all seems to preventable and I wish he’d found recovery.

I loved Love Island too, was there two episodes? Off to investigate. ETA - it said he was in 2005 and 2006.

Rest in peace Paul ❤

Yeh it’s really sad 😢 it’s the same as Liam Payne, everyone could predict the outcome but when it actually happens it’s still a shock. RIP Paul

Dame Joan Plowright is today’s celebrity death
I was reading something about Vivien Leigh (who was married to Olivier first) the other day which prompted me to look up Joan, as I thought she had died - which at the point she hadn't. Sad that she lost her sight in her later years.

Can someone put Judi Drench in bubble wrap please. She's lost two close friends. So sad
Did you watch Nothing But A Dame on BBC2? It was Maggie Smith, Judy, Joan and Eileen Atkins talking about their lives. It’s probably on IPlayer
