This is like telling your guests they're welcome, then throwing plastic covers over your chairs, putting out ribbon candy and asking people who forget to use a coaster to leave.
Is there a reason Jenna would want/get on the UOR/HHN media list? All I remember her ever doing there is hanging out in the Harry Potter bit and not much else. Didn't she go to HHN last year, but didn't really do anything? And Josh seems to just really dislike it in general.
At any rate, I'm relieved to see Josh recovered enough from his terrible fireworks injury to stream tonight.

Jenna and Dale also did the Mardi Gras parade float thing with Kelly and Ivone.

Watched the end of his stream. "Huge announcement for our channel by Jenna". All signs are pointing to HHN media, but Josh won't be able to attend so it looks like Jenna will be the one covering it. I saw Ordinary Adventures opening up a HHN gift box on Insta, so I'm predicting she also got one. Josh would be horrible at that, so it's best for her to do it. He pretty much hates HHN.
But she loves Lil Boo!! The main draw is being able to film all of the houses. Huge views for some creators.

As of a few hours post stream, Ron has 38k views to Josh's 25k, and he has less than 1/4 the numbers of subscribers
If that's the announcement, I hope whatever content she puts up is on their Adventures channel. But if the media invite is for RTV1, maybe she has to post it there.

It will be on RTV1, but I can't imagine how long it will take Jenna to edit all of that.

Big announcement: Jenna and Dale got invited by Disney to go on a cruise. They don’t even do cruising content.
A little mini-cruise - too short for the size/offerings on this ship. We've sailed the others and loved them. Maybe media invites help fill spots during hurricane season?
I mean, that's exciting for them. Maybe not talk it up for weeks exciting, but we know it's the perfect price (I don't blame them).
I'd think if your channel has the amount of subs it does, you'd be at media events all over central FL every week. I've got a friend who works for a family focused content site & she's at media events all the time.
Tldr: If these people actually tried & hustled a little more behind the scenes, they could have a LOT more content/events/freebies.
Ok, that's a nice perk. Impressive. Adventures channel did a cruise and got amazing views. RTV1? Not so much. However, thank god Jenna doesn't have to sail away with Josh. Can you imagine? Dale will make the content much more enjoyable.
DIS Our Dream is on their third or fourth Wish weekender now. Content for days, if you do it right. Good for Jenna and Dale. A real adventure as opposed to Starbucks and Target.
So this will be on RTV1, not Jenna's channel, right? I hope Joshie coughs up the profit any content from it makes to his sister-wife, but I can hear him taking credit for getting the invite: "I've put so much work and my own money into this channel and the channel got the invite, not you, blah blah blah."
I think this cruise might be part of Josh's extra terrible attitude as of late. His teaching job is keeping him from enjoying the fruits of his "hard work" on YouTube while unemployed Dale reaps the benefits. Not sure how Disney thought this miserable joykill would be a great represenative for their cruiseline, but here we are. We will never hear the end of it from Jenna, but at least she will bring the enthusiasm.
Thanks to all of you who watched! I saw "big announcement," "what's new at Disney Springs," Jenna holding a Starbucks (some kind of doctored up pumpkin spice latte, no doubt, as if you couldn't get that at any Starbucks anywhere), 40 minutes long, and it was an immediate NO.
No wonder Josh has been so "spicy" lately. They finally get invited on a cruise and he can't go because of the job he hates but is stuck in for 10 more years.
The Wish goes to Lighthouse Point (I'm probably butchering that name because every vlogger I've watched mixes it up), right? I wonder if DCL is doing another round of media invites now that they've worked out some of the bugs. Literally - those initial reviews weren't great, one of the reasons being a tremendous amount of flies around the food on the island on the first day.
In any event, good for Jenna that she finally gets to go on DCL. I hope she and Dale rise to the occasion, get some decent footage, and put it out in a timely manner. But I'm not holding my breath.

My thoughts exactly, about this invite, and Josh's inability to go, being the reason for his awful mood lately. It would explain holding off on the announcement until they "worked out all the details" (of who's going), and Josh saying he got "spicy" at work recently, but not with students. It's no doubt a midweek cruise (even during hurricane season, weekend cruises are popular, so I'm sure they reserve those for paying guests), and I wouldn't be at all surprised if school said no too Josh taking multiple days in a row off; especially because he said he has 5 classes this year. WAH-wah!

I'm curious if the marketing/social media planner for Disney took into account that Josh has a FT job and would not be able to make it. I'd be that person's biggest fan if they did.
It is a shame he's not able to enjoy the first big media invite tossed their way, but maybe they'll be invited to another soon... afterall, the school year is almost over, right?

Looks like Spicy J is retreating to the comfort of MK and the PeopleMover tonight to lick his wounds about not being able to go on the cruise and collect a bunch of sympathy superchats for it (not necessarily in that order):
I'm tempted, but Goo is also doing a 12 hour, 4 park cure SMA fundraiser stream, and Ron is heading to DL for their Halloween party, so....
