Has anyone seen Kemper on Kemper? A serial killer who now works with FBI profiling psychopaths and murderers? Absolutely brilliant documentary and some very disturbing crimes committed!

I have always been fascinated by forensics and crime programmes. I work in child psychiatry and hope to move into specialist forensic setting/ clinical work when I have more skills/ experience!

You can actually go to the old bailey to watch high profile cases, I really wanted to but couldn’t find anyone to come with me

I'm joining in!! I will be interested to hear your opinions I really got into the Armchair Detective on YouTube who covers real life cases, but I also love Nordic Noir dramas, Spiral etc. The Staircase really bothered me

I listen to My Favorite Murder all day every day and I bloody love it. There’s also great true crime threads on Reddit that are worth a read.

He definitely did it. He killed the first woman too, in Germany I think it was. Just my opinion of course
Yeah and in near identical circumstances too!

Sword and Scale is a murder/true crime podcast that I have enjoyed. Not for the faint hearted as it doesn't hold back but some very interesting cases on there.

Re The Staircase, I really don't know! The husband seemed so sneaky and odd which screamed guilty. I can't remember what the possible motives were but I started to wonder about the owl attack as we get owls come to the garden, however they do keep their distance. Weren't the marks consistent with that theory

But yes, I forgot about the murder in Germany!!

Completely agree. Episode 100 of My Favorite Murder goes into it on great detail if you haven’t listened to it. Georgia’s meds are off (she says so herself) and it’s a bit jumbled and hyperactive but very interesting.

It’s not murder related but I had the flu a few weeks ago and got obsessed with 60 days in. The first season is on Netflix but I watched the rest of them online and I’m hooked

it’s so interesting

I think the first one was an on purpose accident, do you know what I mean? But he got away with it so when it came down to it and his wife found out about the male prostitutes he thought "I know how to sort this..." he came across as a bumbling academic type but I think hes a very cunning man. I missed a speaking tour by his legal team the other year, gutted. If anyone is in scotland you can watch crime files with prof David Wilson on the new BBC scotland channel. Its fabulous.

Watch Don’t Fuck with Cats on Netflix! Seriously crazy, gave me proper chills. Can’t wait for Monday’s 24 hours in police custody!

I’ve also always been fascinated with couples who kill. It blows my mind. Like how does that conversation even start?!!
