I really feel for her as she approaches the teen years. Every aspect of her life is so controlled. She’s going to end up rebelling so hard at some point. Would love Rachael having to deal with an emo or goth phase 
So does no one else get cake on her birthday? Only Violet. Poor Dom, that's the best bit, getting a slice or 2 of your siblings cake. So weird and controlling.
I'm actually surprised she didn't cut a wedge of watermelon into a piece of cake and whack a candle in it.

And the aesthetics of the whole opening presents. The fathers on the lounge looking on not really interested , Rachael's too busy filming so she can put it on Instagram. Then there's the minimalist piece of cake of some sort, with one candle on it and Rachael's filming again. Violet was more over the moon with the ice cream maker, than the crafty headband. What a sad sad sorry birthday. You'd think they could of gone out for tea with maybe one of her school friends then come back and had a whole bloody cake with more than one candle on it. Nobody would probably eat her home made cakes with all the tit powders in it. Where is Rachael's mother and father. Or even just some friends over for cuppa and cake afterschool. I know I'm know I'm being ridiculous. Tennis is more important than violets birthday. Just one night off . Rachael doesn't seem to have not even one close friend not even a school mum with a kid from violets class. She just has all "Papa's" European old fuddy Duddy friends

Where they live now is not the same kitchen we see in the penthouses she's cooking in. Why would you rent apartments or houses when they had a beautiful.penthouse. The mind boggles why on earth would people with oodles if money that could afford to buy a house pay dead money like rent
