I've watched Alex's content for a good while now but the same as you guys, she's become absolutely unbearable recently. Very much spoilt child vibes and the fan/friend dynamic is also super weird to me too.

I didn't know about Sam not being a visible online friend any more (a pretty clear indication that he isn't counted as a "real-life" friend any more either) and I definitely think she'll leave Dan and start her own little bird fancier commune in where ever it is she lives now.

How far did she actually move from "home"?!

I used to watch her a couple of years ago when she was doing Japan vlogs I think? I thought she was alright, it always weirded me out that she allows her parrot to fly around the house no doubt shitting on everything. I always found her usual content of fast fashion hauls boring but if she’s having some sort of drama I’ll check her out again.

If you thought the parrot was bad, don't watch the recent videos... She has a whole flock of different birds in her house, and yup, they're shitting everywhere. But she justifies there being shit in the bed all the time because 'They're just little pellets, they roll right off!'

Pellets or not... I'm sure Dan doesn't appreciate any type of shit in the place where he sleeps...

Shit situation but I don’t have much sympathy for someone who clearly wants something different in life that’s very important to them but is compromising just because it’s comfortable. She could have left at any point, but then got offended when he decided they needed to divorce when she upped and left to live somewhere else for half a year.

They both clearly have big faults in how they’ve dealt with this and I have no doubt Dan probably said something horrifically offensive in anger to her (which is a shit accusation to throw out there without saying what he said btw, because people will assume the worst) but she can’t sit there and act like she’s the little dinky angel of the story who got fucked over.

It’s all a very very immature take, and she’ll continue to live alone if she doesn’t wise up and start acting her age instead of a scorned teenager.

Really unprofessional for Alex to do this to Lucy and she’s deffo not trying to be friends with any of the Sydney lot but doing stuff like this, this is why you shouldn’t mix friendship and business as it can turn sour.

I was so pleased for her getting out of her rift after getting her diagnosis. And I was onboard with it being quite a shock to her system, but her content and personality seemed to become solely "her diagnosis". Goodness knows what she was like to be around in real life, as she seemed to morph into someone completely different and then everything revolved around that.

Great, really happy for you, but can we talk about something else sometimes? Not everything has to be about you having ADHD. Plenty of people do. It's like when people get pregnant, then that's their personality forever. The story with Dan sounds a lot like miscommunications. Things that were said, meant and heard not aligning.
She will regret what she posted about her friends, not tomorrow, but some day. And maybe realise that she isn't an innocent party to them ghosting her.

There can be logical explanations for a lot of things she has thrown out (changing locks and removing furniture sounds like something you have to do if you want to sell a house), and some stuff that does not sound as reasonable as she thinks (moving into the granny flat with a whole menagerie of pets or to another state surely aren't the only options, or reasonable ones) and things that make her just look bad (paying someone more for a video than it makes on YT? Someone get her a business 101 textbook)
I will not touch the pregnancy/children/family topic, I think there is again a lot of miscommunication in there.
And there are other things that don't line up with things she has said in videos.

Kudos to the Sydney crew for not firing back even though her fans are already trolling their socials. It'll rile her up even more for a bit, but she will run out of steam in a couple of weeks.

What’s everyones opinions? What prompted me to make this thread is in one of her new videos she mentioned “bi panic” a few times, sexualising her friends while they were trying on clothes to the point of it being uncomfortable to watch. She later stated she was straight in that same video. That didn’t sit very well with me, it almost came across quite queerbaity in my opinion.

hello! Was hoping an alex thread would pop up - I started following her a couple years back when she’d review wish items / unique clothes from smaller places etc.. but honestly as her channel has grown I’ve found shes become unbearable to watch.

I understand and respect people grow and content changes but now it’s all rude remarks from her when people voice opinions on her content, especially the videos where she’s dyeing her hair which she honestly churns out at-least once a week? Lmao

As for the queerbaiting I HATE that; it’s almost like she makes it a part of her brand online, being part of the lgbtqia+ community isn’t part of your ‘pretty pastel’ aesthetic alex??
And saying ‘bi-panic’ as a straight woman is honestly just using bisexuality like it’s a throwaway statement - its on par with people who don’t like mess saying they have OCD - it just doesn’t work like that when these labels are real and people actually are these things?

Finally as for the friendship thing, I couldn’t agree more, also the clickbaity ‘ex boyfriend’ videos when she includes her friend same irritate me alot, especially because if anyone insinuates anything around her and him she gets rude again as mentioned above
